This is my second season and I feel so honored to be a part of the Indianapolis Colts Organization and the Colts community! I truly enjoy being a Sweetheart of the Horseshoe and having the opportunity to cheer on our Boys in Blue!
Dance has always been a passion of mine and will always be a part of me. I have been a dancer for the Springfield Ballet Company, the Illinois Ballet Company and The Scarlet Line Dance Team, amongst multiple other teams and studios. I have been trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, and hip-hop styles of dance.
Although I love putting on my sparkly uniform on Sunday game days, you would find me in a pair of scrubs and glasses during the weekdays. I live sort of a "double life" in that I am primarily a professional student, who also enjoys being a Colts Cheerleader in my time outside of school.
I am a dental student in the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program at IU School of Dentistry. I graduated with honors from the University of Missouri, majoring in Biology for my undergraduate degree, and am now in my final year of dental school and will be graduating in May. I am very passionate about my career in dentistry and really enjoy caring for my patients!
I would like to thank my wonderful family and friends for all of your love and encouragement throughout my endeavors. I would also like to thank the Colts Organization for allowing me the opportunity to step back on the field for a second season! I am so excited to share another season with my incredible Colts Cheer sisters and cannot wait to see what this season has in store for our Colts!
The Colts have their first regular season home game this week against the Jets. What do you look forward to most?
I look forward to seeing Lucas Oil Stadium filled with our awesome fans and the high level of the energy and excitement that will be in the air!
As a dental student, what advice do you have to give to fans on maintaining excellent dental health?
Don't be afraid to go to the dentist! We truly care about the well-being of our patients. Routine dental care is the key to maintaining excellent dental health!
As a teenager, you did ballet. Did you practice any other styles of dance?
Yes! Although ballet was my favorite, I also practiced pointe, jazz, modern, and hip-hop styles of dance.
The Colts Cheerleaders recently had a college alumni themed practice. What's your alma mater and what do you know now that you wish you knew as a college freshman?
My alma mater is the University of Missouri (Mizzou). Go Tigers! Something I know now that I wish I knew as a freshman is that all of the hard work and sleepless nights actually will pay off. It can be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel when you're a freshman in college, but having an education is invaluable.
Your guilty pleasure is...
Sweets! Ironically, I have a huge sweet tooth. I especially love the skillet cookie at Mo's Steakhouse and anything from the Cake Bake Shop in Broadripple!
