INDIANAPOLIS—Pep Hamilton wasted no time digging deep into his playbook during the Pro Bowl on Sunday night.

A flea flicker on Team Sanders first possession was dialed up with Andrew Luck tossing a 45-yard touchdown pass to Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

Team Sanders, coached by Chuck Pagano and the Colts staff, fell victim to a last-minute touchdown and Team Rice captured the 2014 Pro Bowl with a 21-20 win at Aloha Stadium.

For Luck, the night was short lived compared to his normal reps.

The No. 1 pick in Wednesday's draft played just three drives and exited after the first quarter.

Luck was 5-of-7 for 80 yards, one touchdown and one interception on Sunday.

Opposing Luck on Team Rice was outside linebacker Robert Mathis and long snapper Matt Overton.

In a base 4-3 defense, Mathis played mostly a standup linebacker role during the Pro Bowl and finished the game with three tackles.

A 14-14 halftime tie was broken in the fourth quarter when Eagle quarterback Nick Foles found Browns tight end Jordan Cameron for a 12-yard touchdown.

Team Rice wasn't done though.

Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith led a final minute drive with Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray scoring on a 20-yard touchdown reception.

Down 21-20, Jerry Rice elected to go for two and Panthers fullback Mike Tolbert ran it in for the conversion.

Sunday's Pro Bowl was the first under a new format with unconferenced teams and an emphasis of a more "real" game.

That was certainly the case with several teammates during the regular season tackling each other on opposing teams Sunday.

Chiefs inside linebacker Derrick Johnson and Foles were named Defensive and Offensive MVPs respectively.
