WR-MARVIN HARRISON (on reaching the AFC Championship game)
"It is definitely a credit to our team, the entire coaching staff and our fans, who did a great job for us when we had the first playoff game at home. We put in a lot of effort the entire season to be at this point. We are happy to be at this point. We worked extremely hard to get here."
WR-MARVIN HARRISON (on the difference between this team and other Colts teams that lost in the first round of the playoffs)
"The teams in the past, we were learning. We put ourselves to be in the situation we are in right now. We were missing a lot of the pieces of the puzzle. Right now, we feel that we have everything that we need to get to the next game. We feel that we have the perfect arsenal to get further."
WR-MARVIN HARRISON (on the weather being a factor)
"We are not concerned about it. We feel that is an opportunity for us to get to the next stage. Every week there is something, but the weather is not one of our concerns."
WR-MARVIN HARRISON (on what effect the first game between Indianapolis and New England will have on this game)
"I am sure the Patriots will make some adjustments and we are going to make some adjustments. It is going to be a different game. The main thing is they made a couple of big plays on us in the first game. If we can eliminate their big plays and minimize our turnovers then we can come out on top."
WR-MARVIN HARRISON (on the concerns he has about the Patriots)
"We don't have any concerns about them. Our concern is to go out there and play Colts football. We have been doing that all year to get to this point. We are looking forward to not turning the ball over and controlling the game, moving the sticks and putting points on the board."
WR-MARVIN HARRISON (on what New England does defensively that challenges receivers)
"They play together. All 11 guys are on the same page. They use a lot of different schemes to try and confuse an opponent, not only the quarterback but the receivers out wide. They bring a lot of blitzes. They do a lot of different things to try and discourage the route you have on. If we can pick up the blitzes and know where everyone is going to be when the ball is snapped, that will be in our favor. Their job is to bring a lot of pressure on the quarterback."
WR-MARVIN HARRISON (on what he perceives as the difference between Peyton's play this season from past seasons)
"I can't pinpoint a big difference. He came into this year with the attitude he wants to go further and do a lot of different things. I think he has done that. This year, all of the hard work he has done in the past has paid off. It's like climbing a mountain. Someday, you are going to get to the top."
WR-MARVIN HARRISON (on this year being a redemption for Tony Dungy after Tampa Bay won the Super Bowl last year, one season after Dungy departed)
"I don't this season as being any redemption. There was never any talk about Tampa Bay last year when they won the Super Bowl. Coach doesn't talk a lot at all. He just gives us our game plan and lets us play football. Overall, we know what is at stake for him and our team."
WR-MARVIN HARRISON (on talk about the players winning the Super Bowl for Tony Dungy)
"We haven't looked that far ahead to winning the Super Bowl for our coach or our players. The main thing is that we have worked extremely hard to get to this point to play for the AFC Championship. Once we go out and concentrate on this week on winning the game this week, then we can talk about what it means to win a Super Bowl for the coach, team and the city."
WR-MARVIN HARRISON (on whether the low profile Marvin keeps is by design)
"I wouldn't say it is by design. I am not an outspoken person or the type of person that wants to be noticed. I want to be known as someone who goes to practice, does his job and goes home. I am not looking for any attention. I just try to play hard and be happy."
WR-MARVIN HARRISON (on talk the championship game will be a shootout)
"I don't personally think it will be a shootout. I know that the goal of our offense is to put as many points on the board as possible. Our defense is going to be a lot more prepared than it was for the first game. So will special teams. We are going to look forward to having a well-round game. Hopefully, we will control turnovers and things of that nature and come out on top."
WR-MARVIN HARRISON (on the development of the other receivers)
"It has not only helped me. It has helped our entire team. It has helped Peyton. On third down everyone thinks he is going to throw it to me, but now he often throws it to someone else. It helps us a whole lot."
