It's not game time yet, but some Colts' fans are in for a sneak peek. Free tours of the new Lucas Oil Stadium will be available during the opening ceremonies held August 16th in downtown Indianapolis.
"The Colts are very excited to be able to open Lucas Oil Stadium to the general public and show off our spectacular audio and video equipment as well as allowing people to see and appreciate the areas of the building that our founding sponsors have taken much pride in decorating," said Jay Souers, Colts Vice President of Sponsorship Sales.
After the 9:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting officiated by Governor Mitch Daniels, Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard and others, three sessions of self-guided tours will take place at 10 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m.
"If you are not fortunate enough to be a season ticket holder, this is your chance to enjoy the building that the entire State and Country will be talking about in August and in years to come!" added Souers.
Admission for the tours is free, but tickets are required and will be available through Ticketmaster beginning July 14th.
