In May, one of Indiana's most famous readers will sit down with one of Indiana's most famous writers to celebrate their shared love of literature.
On Thursday, May 3rd at the Old National Centre, Colts quarterback Andrew Luck will interview Hoosier and New York Times bestselling author John Green about his latest novel, Turtles All The Way Down.
"I am honored to share the stage with John who is a brilliant author," Luck said. "The Listen Up conversation will provide a great setting for fellow Hoosiers to engage in thought-provoking conversation regarding John's newest novel, Turtles All the Way Down, which will also be the veteran selection for the Andrew Luck Book Club in May. It will be an exciting event in conjunction with The Great American Read and I'm thankful WFYI has invited me to take part."
The Listen Up event kicks off WFYI's participation in The Great American Read, a nationwide campaign by PBS to promote reading and vote for America's best-loved book.
WFYI is home to Andrew Luck's podcast, which airs the last Monday of every month. His interview with John Green will be recorded for broadcast on Monday, May 28th.
But Colts fans and literary fans can attend and watch the event live in person. For more information or to get tickets, go to: https://www.wfyi.org/events/listen-up-the-great-american-read-with-andrew-luck-and-john-green.
