Wide receiver Josh Downs (shoulder) on Thursday did not participate in practice for the second consecutive day ahead of the Colts' Week 13 matchup with the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium.
Downs sustained a shoulder injury early in the fourth quarter of Colts' Week 12 loss to the Detroit Lions, but ultimately returned about five minutes later. He caught three passes for 27 yards against the Lions.
Entering Week 13, Downs leads the Colts in targets (78), receptions (53), receiving first downs (31) and longest reception (69 yards). He's tied with Alec Pierce for the team lead with four receiving touchdowns, and only Pierce has more receiving yards than Downs' 594.
Fellow wide receivers Ashton Dulin (ankle) and Alec Pierce (foot) also did not participate in practice Wednesday (which was a walkthrough) or Thursday.
The Colts' final practice report of Week 13 will be released Friday afternoon, and will include game status designations (out/doubtful/questionable).
