"I think he's good to go. We'll take look at what he's able to do today. He just felt a little tweak. We thought it was better to examine it and find out if there was any problem. He thinks he's fine. We'll see what happens at practice today. They (doctors) took a look at him, checked him out thoroughly and felt he's O.K."

"The point was either you can treat a situation where you have some adversity and look at it and prosper from it and look at it as an opportunity, or you can look at it a little different and feel you are behind the eight-ball as a result of it. We tend to want to move towards the opportunity as oppose to the latter."

"They are two great ones. Both are two guys that stand for all of the right things. They represent our league extremely well. Both guys are tremendous leaders who lead by example moreso than anything else. They don't give you inspiration through exhortation. They give it to you through example of how they lead their lives and what they do on a daily basis in their locker rooms. They are just tremendous individuals. Not only that, they are high-level performers that perform well every game. That's difficult to do. It's great to have an opportunity to see both men work. These are two of the finest that have ever played the game, and to have them on one field the same evening is going to be a treat."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (On Patriots QB-Tom Brady going against the Colts young defensive backs) Thursday
"You can look at it a number of different ways. Just like anything else, it's a team game. Those two guys (Jerraud Powers and Jacob Lacey) don't have to do it alone. They are not isolated. It's not just the three of them playing this game. We believe we have a group of guys who understand how to play in this system. They understand they just have to take care of their responsibility and nothing else. That's their sole obligation to win this game. They just have to do their job."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (On what different strategy the Patriots have done defensively in the past) Thursday
"Every year there has always been some little tweak. The biggest difference was the year in which they took their safeties and moved them to corners. They took their corners and they played safety for them. Rodney Harrison was a bit more physical on our guys coming off the line of scrimmage. That was the one of note that really jumped out at you. I think they won that particular ball game as I recall. It was in New England."

"What makes a huge difference between the guys that are good and the great ones is the accuracy. He can put the ball wherever he wants to. He can literally throw you open. You may be covered, but he can place the ball where you spin back and he can put the ball away from the defender. He makes it advantageous for the receiver to catch it. The real great ones and do it time and time again, and it's not by accident. They can place the ball. He looks fantastic."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (On the consistency of DE-Dwight Freeney) Thursday
"To be able to put the seasons the way he has back-to-back over the years is incredible. When you look at what he's doing right now at this point in time, he is able to get pressure on the quarterback, make big plays in not only the passing game, but the running game as well. Teams know how he is as well. Oftentimes, they do whatever they can to slow him down. They chip, they double-team him. For him to be able to come up with sacks week after week is quite an accomplishment. Obviously, he's had some big plays for us. He continues to do so. I think the other added advantage is he has a guy on the other side (Robert Mathis) that also is a pretty fine pass rusher as well. Oftentimes, you may be able to take one out, but not two out of the game consistently. That helps him also I think. I'm not sure if anybody could predict what he's doing today (when he was scouted in college). You knew he was a fine player. He had all of the intangibles. He was smart and a good student in college. I tried to talk him into coming to Wake Forest and play both ways. I wanted him to play in the backfield as well as the defensive line. He didn't bite on it. You knew he was special. There was no question about that."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (On RB-Joseph Addai and the running game in the fourth quarter this season) Thursday
"He runs downhill hill pretty well during that time of the ballgame. He gets stronger as the game goes on. There are always a lot of factors involved in that. I haven't analyzed it to that point. I do know we keep getting better. That's a sign of a team that is headed in the right direction. The finish is most important. It's going to be really important this week."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (On different changes to anticipate for Sunday night) Thursday
"We talk about those things as much as we possibly can. The fact of the matter is they will always do some things that you did not anticipate or expect. That's why we have to depend so much on our fundamentals and techniques. That's where we focus because if you use the proper techniques and fundamentals from an offensive standpoint, typically, you will be able to handle most things. From a defensive standpoint, if you get the call, recognize the formation, take the proper alignment and read your pass run keys, you will be in a pretty good situation. We try to focus in on just those basics. Therefore our team has been able to adjust."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (On having a defensive player on offense) Thursday
"We've done a little bit of that over the years. DT-Eric Foster has done so this year. We've done it from time to time. We've had some guys that have been in those positions that has helped us a tremendous amount. They've (Patriots) had linebackers to play tight end and catch touchdown passes for them. We haven't gone to those lengths as of yet."
