HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on injuries) * *
"A lot of them will be determined today. We'll have a better sense of WR-Reggie ( Wayne), DE-Dwight (Freeney) and all of those guys. We'll have a good sense of that today. This is kind of the day that we get them out there and see what kind of activity they can do. It's a big decision day today."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on DE-Dwight Freeney's injury)
"I don't know if it's on-going. It's kind of a nick that we wanted to make sure that we got on top of. So, we just gave him a triple dose of treatment. You know him, he's a guy that's very, very conscious of his body and understands how to take care of it. So, we really try get on top of (any injury), so that he doesn't have any lingering problems."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on WR-Reggie Wayne's starting streak of 103 straight games)
"It sure is (impressive). He's a guy that's been extremely durable. (He's) a guy that you could always count on. I suspect he'll (want to be out there) Sunday, as well."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on possibility telling WR-Reggie Wayne that the wise thing to do is to sit out)
"It's always a consideration. What we try to do is keep the hats on the right people making those decisions, and that's the medical field. They've hired me to coach and not necessarily make a determination whether a guy is physically able or ready. The doctors do a great job of that and letting us know what the decision is. At some point, when they say, 'Hey, this look like it might be a 50-50 thing.' Then we have to make a decision on whether or not we think it's to the best interest of the team to hold him out another week or (play him). There aren't too many of them that don't want to play regardless of the circumstances. They all want to get out there."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on if the Colts' don't have DT-Eric Foster or DE-Dwight Freeney)
"We would have to do a few adjustments and a little gymnastics if that were to be the case, but we don't foresee that happening."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on the rotation at running back if RB-Donald Brown can't play)
"What we do with them is let RB-Joe (Addai) take as many of them as he wants, and when he wants to come out of there, we relieve him at that time. So, we'll go through pretty much the same format, but I would anticipate that his load might be a bit heavier."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on RB-Mike Hart getting some playing time)
"There's a possibility. He's been working in practice, and he's certainly ready to go."
