QB-DAVID CARR (on being familiar with the Colts)
"They're going to be fast. It's going to be loud. We're going to have to be on our game. When you go in there, you have to worry about their defense, keeping Peyton (Manning) off the field, there's a lot of things you have to deal with. There's definitely a challenge ahead of us."
QB-DAVID CARR (on RB-Wali Lundy)
"Wali is a good back. We have Wali, Ron Dayne and Vernand Morency, they're all probably going to get some reps. All of those guys have different skills. They're all learning the position, also. Wali and Vernand, especially, they haven't had too many opportunities, so they're definitely excited."
QB-DAVID CARR (on how comfortable he is with Gary Kubiak's new scheme)
"Pretty comfortable. Last week, I wish we could have pulled that out, but as far as I was concerned, I felt pretty comfortable as far as knowing what he wanted from me, knowing what he expected from me, knowing where to get the ball. We need to run the ball a little bit better, and we had too many sacks. We're on the right track to get this thing turned around."
QB-DAVID CARR (on if he likes rolling out more)
"We did a little bit last week. That's something that, obviously you watch the Broncos for so long, that's pretty much what we do. But we have to be able to run the ball effectively for that to work, because if you're not, then the bootlegs are not going to be effective."
QB-DAVID CARR (on if he has spoken to DE-Mario Williams about all of the pressures of being the No. 1 overall pick)
"He has a lot going on. He has a lot on his plate. At the same time, you just have to play ball. The only thing that I've ever said to him is, 'Don't forget that you're a football player, too, along with all of the other things that are going on with you. The only thing that really matters is when you go out there on Sunday, you do your best, and you really can't control anything other than that.'"
QB-DAVID CARR (on if he felt that pressure as a rookie)
"I think everybody does. I know I did. Yes, there's pressure, just because you don't know what you're doing, too. That's tough. You never really figure out the game, but until you get comfortable with who you are and your system and what you're doing, it's tough to kind of get those nerves out of you because you're still learning the game as well as realizing that you have to perform at a high level being picked in that situation. So, there's definitely some added pressure."
