Colts, Pacers to Combine for Friday Pep Rally in Monument Circle
INDIANAPOLIS – The teams from Boston are coming to town.
And to get fans ready, the Colts and the Indiana Pacers are celebrating a "Home Team Blue Friday."
With the Colts playing the New England Patriots on Sunday and the Pacers playing the defending World Champion Boston Celtics the previous day, the teams are holding a joint rally in Monument Circle on Friday, October 31 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Colts/Pacers Blue Friday elements include:
• Colts/Pacers Alumni Player Autographs, 12-1 p.m.
• Colts Cheerleaders and Pacemate Autographs, 12-1 p.m.
• Appearances by the teams' mascots, Boomer, Bowser and Blue.
• Colts In Motion traveling museum.
• Pacers Fan Van.
• Halloween costume contest for two (2) VIP ticket packages to the Colts and Pacers games and gift certificates for dinner.
• Register to Win Colts and Pacers weekend ticket packages.
• Colts and Pacers "Home Team" poster give-a-way.
• Live music by "Dave and Rae."
• Colts Pro Shop and Pacers Home Court Gift Shop.
• Trick or Treating.
• Free lunch for the first 500 of fans provided by Donatos.
The Colts will play the Patriots at 8:15 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis, with the Pacers scheduled to play the Celtics on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Also, the Colts and Pacers are hosting a canned food drive to supGleaners Food Bank of Indiana. Fans are encouraged to bring canned foods and or monetary donations to help support fellow residents this Thanksgiving season.
A speaking program featuring Mayor Greg Ballard will be held on stage starting at noon.
