HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on the shortness of the offseason) Training Camp
"It feels like it's short in some ways. We probably didn't get the amount of time we normally do to relax, but I think we got the work in and it feels like the right time to be back here. The last couple of days getting reports from other people's training camps and other people's practices, it kind of gets you going and we feel like we should be out there. So I'm looking forward to tomorrow morning."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on if this year's camp will be different) Training Camp
"I hope it doesn't. I think there will be a different feel from the fans. We might have more people out here and more energy outside the white lines, but hopefully it's exactly the same. We go through things the same way. That's going to be my message to the team, that this is where we started last year and we have to do all those same things, take care of the details the same way and get the same result."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on the starting left tackle position) Training Camp
"I don't know that there is a front runner. Everybody assumes that we have a front runner at quarterback and got a front runner at right wide receiver and we probably do. Still, it's training camp and that's why we come. You try to pick as a coach 53 guys that should be on the team. After you do that, you try to pick out 22 guys that should start. This whole thing is a process so every position is really that way, including left tackle, and at the end of camp we'll have a good person there."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on intensity at training camp) Training Camp
"You hope that intensity is there and I think we have some guys like Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison who practice like their position is up for grabs, and that's what makes us good and I anticipate that we'll continue to have that."
