HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on Wednesday's practice) 10/6/04
"It actually was a pretty good day. We have a lot of work to do because the Raiders do some things that are a little bit different, and we had to really work on that. All in all, it was a good practice and I thought our energy level was good."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on the Raiders) 10/6/04
"They do a lot of blitzing. They have a lot of different blitz packages and we had to work on that type of pickup. In their passing game, they throw a lot of deep routes, deep crossing routes. It's just a different style than we're used to."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on the Raiders' secondary) 10/6/04
"They have some really talented players. Obviously Charles Woodson is a Pro Bowler, Philip Buchanon was a No. 1 draft choice, and those two guys are really good man coverage players. They have other guys in the mix and fast safties, high draft choices all the way through there."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on if he has to stress to the team to stay focused) 10/6/04
"You do. It's just a natural tendency when you have a couple of wins. Winning streaks are hard to come by in the NFL. If you win three or four in a row, you have to really ground yourself, and I think that's what is so remarkable about New England…just being able to come back and play well week after week after week. It's a sign of a really good team."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on WRs Marvin Harrison and Jerry Rice playing against one another) 10/6/04
"It's very similar to how we were two weeks ago with Brett Favre coming in. Guys that are craftsmen like that, just really the best at what they do over a period of time, you always want to match yourself up against them. And I'm sure it's going to mean something to all of our receivers. I think for the casual fan, it's worth the price of admission to see Jerry Rice and Marvin Harrison do what they do on the same field."
