HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on the status of RB-Edgerrin James) 9/22/04
"Edge actually did pretty well on his rehab work. He did some running earlier. We held him out of practice, but we'll see what happens. I think it's still too early to rule him out, but he's still not at the probable stage yet."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on bringing back RB-Ran Carthon) 9/22/04
"It's something we felt we had to do to get ready to win this game. He knows our system and played very well when he played for us. It was a tough decision when we let him go, and for him, I'm glad that it worked out that he's back."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on if Green Bay poses the best one-two combination with the running game and quarterback that the Colts have faced so far) 9/22/04
"It probably is. These guys, I have had a lot of experience playing against them, and they are fantastic players. They really rely heavily on Ahman Green to set the tone, and then they do some things in the passing game off that. But they are two great players, and they are tough to stop."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on QBs Peyton Manning and Brett Favre) 9/22/04
"The plusses for Brett, obviously, he's been in a lot of big games. He's probably the best improviser in the league, in terms of making plays happen out of nowhere. He's a real competitive guy, and he has a tremendously strong arm. Both of these guys show up for every game, which is important. They're both extremely smart. You're not going to rattle them. Peyton does a lot for us. They are both franchise quarterbacks."
