HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY(on the progression of DB-Bob Sanders) 11/4/04
"He's doing as well as could be expected. He brings a lot of energy and he's going to be a real good player for us. He's still learning on the fly, but he brings a lot of what we're looking for. He has a lot of speed and he has striking ability, and when you have that, that goes a long way. He's a fairly instinctive guy. Even not knowing exactly what to do and exactly how to line up and not really being precise and specific, still got himself in the right place a lot (at Kansas City). And that's what you look for."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY(on how they prepare for the game not knowing the status of WR-Randy Moss) 11/4/04
"We have to prepare for him to play, number one. Superstars have a way of making miraculous recoveries by the end of the week, and I would expect him to play. But if he doesn't, we have to prepare for the same thing."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY(on how Culpepper changes the Colts' pass rush) 11/4/04
"You really have to kind of disregard that. You just have to stay alive, and know he is going to get out of the pocket, he is going to break some tackles, he's going to break-contain. Nobody's kept him in the pocket, just like you don't keep Donovan McNabb in there. So, you can't say, 'Well, we have to keep this guy in the pocket.' You have to work on what happens when he does get out."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY(on how special it is playing Minnesotawith his history there) 11/4/04
"Yeah, it's always a little special for me because I did live up there, go to school there, work there for eight years and have a lot of friends up there. The Vikings organization treated me well when I worked there, and it is kind of special."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY(on if this offense is as much of a challenge as KansasCity was) 11/4/04
"It is, because they do some things, they throw some balls that no one else in the league throws. They have a quarterback who other than (Donovan) McNabb, maybe, and (Michael) Vick, you don't see quarterbacks make as many plays outside the structure as this guy does. They have a massive offensive line, they have a lot of weaponry, and when everybody is healthy, they are one of the best in the league."
