HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on if he feels better about the defense or does he wish the defense had more time together in the preseason)
"I still wish that we had more time with everybody, but it is what it is. The other side of the coin is a lot of young guys have gotten a chance to work and have gotten better and have made improvements, and we feel better about them than we would at this point. So, it's a little bit of a trade-off, but fortunately we have some veteran guys who have been in there a lot and when they came back in, guys like Montae Reagor, it was a pretty seamless transition."

HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on the progress of DB-Antoine Bethea)
"Antoine is coming along. He has been a real eye-catcher in practice and in summer school and all of the way through, and it's continued on. He's gotten in the games and been very productive. He's been, I won't say a pleasant surprise because we expected that, but he's done really well. He hasn't slipped up at all."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on not being surprised at how DB-Antoine Bethea is doing)
"Probably the only surprise is that he's able to do it at this level. What he's doing is exactly what we saw on tape. He played center field at Howard, he made a ton of plays, he ran to the ball and he was a guy that looked like the best guy on tape in most of the games he was in. And you say, 'Well, it's small-school level, almost like Robert Mathis, and with that level of competition, it's probably going to take him time to adjust,' but it really hasn't."
HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on DB-Antoine Bethea always being around the ball)
"He is that, and we saw that. That's kind of what attracted us to him on his college tape, and it's continuing."
