HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (general comments on the game) Post-Game vs. Chicago8/20/05

"Well it wasn't very pretty tonight. We are obviously disappointed. I thought we had a good week of practice and we would be ready to play, but the Bears came out and played much sharper and much more aggressively and much better in the first half than we did. And we couldn't overcome it in the second half. I'm not used to losing home games like this. I'm not used to loosing three games in a row. I'm not used to playing this poorly. We could look at it and make excuses. We could say 'this is why' and 'when this guy comes back it will be different' and 'we will be fine,' but it isn't fine. This will be the focus of our practice this coming week."

HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (general comments on game) Post-Game vs. Chicago8/20/05

"It's been a long time since we played offense like that. We had a lot of penalties, turnovers, dropped balls and did not play sharp. Defensively, we had some moments of good individual performances, but overall, it is the same thing. Special teams, we have had some good and some bad plays. That is the way we are playing right now. It is probably good enough to keep us in the game if we are loosing, but we got to get it fixed."
