HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on –going outside the country, Toronto)
"I think it's going to be fun. Obviously anytime you have the opportunity to go to an area where some guys haven't been before and play a really solid football team. Some enthusiastic fans that will have an opportunity to see us for the first time up close and personal. We're looking forward to it."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on –how many out-of-country games Coach Caldwell has been involved with)
"Japan and this one and that's it. It's different. What it does is get your team ready to make some adjustments; things they aren't accustomed to doing. You can see what kind of focus they're going to have. We'll use this as an opportunity to prepare for our road trips. We're going to have some that will be at night. HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on –Ryan Diem's influence during camp)
"I think his leadership has been outstanding at this point in time because he does have a lot of younger guys around him, so he's able to give them some instruction and direction. Ryan is a guy that is a true professional. He had a couple things going on in his life early on with the new baby, but nevertheless he's done a good job so far."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on –Curtis Painter taking heat for Sunday's game)
"First of all, some of the heat is unfair. I do think he's working and getting better and I do believe it's part of the process. Also the position that he plays oftentimes gets too much praise when you win and do well and too much criticism when things don't go well because it all falls on him. There were certainly a lot of other factors involved in his playing the other day. He'll handle it. He's a tough-minded guy. It's all part of the position."

Then we have tomorrow morning as well. By that time I'll be able to sum it all up for you, but at this time it's been outstanding. The people have been great. The reception we received has been outstanding, unbelievable fan support. The volunteers have been tremendous. The university has bent over backwards to do everything they can to make sure this is an environment that is conducive to getting better, and they've done all those things. We've absolutely enjoyed it."
HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on –Tom Brandstater's chances of making team)

So all of those things are taken into consideration, and when it comes down to it we'll make a decision at the end after we've had an opportunity to look at all parties involved."
