(on any updates on injuries) * *

"We still have a couple guys that we'll look at today and see how they come through, but for the most part we're in good shape."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on playing on the road Monday night and then the next game being a Sunday night road game)

"That's kind of the way it is. You have to play it the way they fall. That's the great thing about our game, every year the schedule is a little bit different, and there are some difficulties you have to face along the way. You can't complain about it. You have to focus in on what you need to get done, make adjustments where you need to and play."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on the Colts being able to adjust to that schedule)

"They have not been phased by the difficulty of schedule or the requirements of playing back-to-back games in very short periods of time. We've been able to weather the storm and play well."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on adjusting to the schedule being a necessary trait to be a good team)

"I think so. I think, obviously, having some success doing it and having a good corps of guys that have been through it, veterans that don't get shaken by an adjustment to the schedule. It's not new to them. Oftentimes, they are able to relay that to the younger guys and they follow suit, and we keep playing."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on if he says anything to the younger players about playing on Monday  Night Football)

"We talk to them about it. It's a little bit different atmosphere. I've spoken to them already about it earlier in the week. We try to set the tone and then we don't harp on it during the rest of the week. We talk about where we are playing and what we can expect and so forth. We try to set that tone and get that out of the way and focus in on what we can control."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on if they've tried to get a head start on Arizona with the short week coming up)

"Week-in and week-out we do it that way. There is always an advance team somewhere within the confines of our organization that looks ahead and gets us in position. Certainly, it helps us deal with the short week."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on if he expects defenses to attack the offense differently with WR-Reggie Wayne as the only experienced wide receiver)

"I'm not really sure what they'll do. Week-in and week-out that is always a challenge for us, to adjust to maybe some things a team decides to do. What we can control is how we function. I think we're built to spread the ball around quite a bit. You've seen that from time-to-time. I would assume at some point in time you'll see a lot of different things to adjust to what the opposition thinks our offensive strength is."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on how much WR-Hank Baskett might play)

"He's coming along. I do have a better feel for him after seeing him for two days. He's coming along well. He's very smart. He catches on quickly. He was a 4.0 (GPA) student in high school, and that helps. He's a guy that thinks quickly on his feet, that has a good grasp of things. He has great study habits. How much you're going to see him, I'm not certain, but we think he'll be able to play for us at some point. He's quite the student of the game."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on if DB-Jamie Silva will be able to play)

"Jamie is one of those guys we're kind of looking at today to see how he is feeling, but he has made good progress and is coming along. We're pleased with where he is, and we'll see what happens at the end of the day."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on how OT-Charlie Johnson looked in practice yesterday)

"He looks like he is coming along ok. He's another guy that today will be a telling indicator for where he is."

HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on practice squad RB-Mike Hart running the scout team Wildcat)

"He's played the role of (Ronnie) Brown for us. He's done a nice job."
