DE-JASON TAYLOR(on being mentioned for NFL Defensive Player-of-the-Year)
"It's obviously flattering for me, but this is the ultimate team game when we're playing it and I would much rather have the team success like Indy is having than have the individual accolades. If that was to happen, it would still be a team award for me. It would be an award that I would share with the whole defensive unit. Like I said, I would much rather be playing in January."
DE-JASON TAYLOR(on individual play this year compared to others)
"I'm probably playing a more complete game than I have in any point in my career. I think the biggest thing that sticks out is the big plays, the touchdowns in particular. I think I have had some other decent years in this league, but this one probably does stick out more than others."
DE-JASON TAYLOR(on if the Colts offense is still the same)
"No, I think they're better than when I faced them before. I know they had Edge(rrin James) before and Edge is Edge, he's great, but they still have Marvin, they have Peyton, Reggie and Dallas. They are doing just fine. They are one of the top teams in this league and I'm confident they will get their defense together. I'm a big fan of Dwight Freeney. I watch him a lot and I get a chance to see the Colts play a good bit. They have had their struggles stopping the run, but they still have a powerful offense, they can put points up any time and a defense that when Peyton gets them the lead, they can definitely protect it because they have a heck of a defensive front as far as rushing the passer."
DE-JASON TAYLOR(on Dwight Freeney only having 5.5 sacks this year)
"That does not matter. Sometimes people get too carried away on the stats and all that. Dwight is a hell of a football player. There is a reason why sometimes it's hard for him to get to the quarterback. They are doing everything they can to keep him from doing it. He's a player that offensive coordinators and head coaches and everybody sit up at night worrying about and trying to figure out a way to block and protect and keep him from destroying their game. Sometimes doing the little things doesn't translate into getting sacks in the box scores, but he still does things to help players around him succeed and helps the Colts win games."
DE-JASON TAYLOR(on if Dwight Freeney will be getting paid at the end of the season)
"Yeah, why wouldn't he, because he has five-and-a-half so far this year? Please. How many years has he been in the league, four years, five years? Guys play their whole careers and
