DB-BOB SANDERS (on being ready for the playoffs)
"Well, the plan is for me to go in and practice every week. I want to get as many reps as I can. I really haven't been out there much, but I'm going to take it a day at a time. If I start to feel sore or if I get kind of sore, I may take a day off here and there, but I'm just going to try to get as much work as I can. "
DB-BOB SANDERS (on how he feels right now)
"I feel good. This whole week I've just been making sure I've continued to strengthen and stay on my rehab. That's what has been getting me over the hump for the few games I was able to play. As long as I continue to do that, I think I'll be good."
DB-BOB SANDERS (on playing physical and not being 100%)
"My job is tough, and you can get hurt being down in the trenches and running in the box. So, I have to make sure I'm healthy. I won't go out if I don't feel like I can go. This week is good for me to get a lot of good work in, and hopefully I'll be out there. That's what I plan on, being out there. I'm going to try my hardest to make sure I can get through every practice and be out there on Saturday."
DB-BOB SANDERS (on the first comeback compared to now)
"I'm a lot stronger. Then, I was just really getting into my strength work and my strength rehab. I'm a lot stronger and I'm excited about that. I think that's going to help me to continue to move forward."
DB-BOB SANDERS (on his big impact at New England and if his injury held him back at Tennessee)
"It did, and like I said, it came with me not being as strong as I needed to be. Physically, I just wasn't all the way there, but right now I'm good and I'm ready to go."
DB-BOB SANDERS (on playing Kansas City and RB-Larry Johnson and how he studies him)
"First thing coming into it, you want to look at his size, his speed. He has both of those. He's a big guy, he has good quickness…He's a shifty guy…He's got great ability stiff-arming. My thing is, when I do get a chance to hit him, I'm going to make sure to wrap him up and bring him to the ground. He's a hard guy to get a solid hit on. He's real shifty."
