After trailing at halftime the Indianapolis Colts came back to beat the New York Jets in the AFC Championship Game. Check back later for more stories

The Colts milked over five minutes off the clock with their latest score, tacking on three points to their lead to make it a 13-point game. Stover split the uprights with his 21-yard attempt. **COLTS 30, JETS 17

FOURTH QUARTER (8:52 remaining)

It appears as if the Colts saved their best performance for the second half.

The Lucas Oil Stadium erupted after the Colts scored their third touchdown of the game, a 15-yard TD pass over the middle to Clark, to take a 27-17 lead. The Colts marched 80 yards in seven plays for the score.

Manning has now completed 23-of-34 passes for 339 yards and three touchdowns on the day. COLTS 27, JETS 17

FOURTH QUARTER (12:25 remaining)

The Colts defense continues to shut down the run (81 yards on the day) and come up with crucial stops when the team needs them to most. Indy forced its third punt of the game, and following a touchback will take over from their own 20.**

As the third quarter comes to a close, the Colts have the lead, but the Jets have possession, facing 2nd-and-10 from their own 23. Indianapolis took the game's lead in the third quarter off a four-yard touchdown pass from Manning to Garcon. **

The Jets forced the Colts three-and-out, but McAfee's punt sailed 52 yards, pinning New York at their own 10-yard line.**

THIRD QUARTER (4:24 remaining)

Coming up with a critical stop on third down, the Colts forced the Jets to punt for the second time this game. New York's Steve Weatherford kicked the ball 37 yards before Colts return man T.J. Rushing picked the ball up off the bounce and ran with it four yards to Indy's 16.

The Colts now have two players, Collie (six catches, 112 yards) and Garcon (seven catches, 107 yards) over 100 yards for the day.

THIRD QUARTER (8:03 remaining)

After taking over from their own 43, the Colts marched 57 yards down the field in under four minutes and scored their second touchdown of the game on a four-yard pass from Manning to Garcon.

The Colts' second-year wide receiver caught four passes on the drive for 35 yards, including the score. Running back Joseph Addai also caught a screen pass for 13 yards to set up the TD**. COLTS 20, JETS 17

THIRD QUARTER (11:45 remaining)

The Jets picked up two first downs on their opening drive of the second half, but came away with zero points after Feely missed his second field goal of the game, this time from 53 yards. **

As the first half comes to a close, the Colts trail by four, but have some of the game's momentum after scoring a touchdown with just over a minute remaining.

Through two quarters, Manning has completed 11-of-18 passes for 218 yards and a touchdown. Running back Joseph Addai has carried the ball eight times for 32 yards and Collie's five catches for 105 yards leads the team.**

SECOND QUARTER (1:13 remaining)

The Colts scored their first touchdown of the game off a 16-yard TD pass from Manning to rookie wide receiver Austin Collie.

In addition to scoring, Collie also set up the touchdown by catching a 46-yard pass over the middle the play before. The rookie now has five catches on the day for 105 yards. **COLTS 13, JETS 17

SECOND QUARTER (2:11 remaining)

The Colts defense stopped the Jets on first, second and third down and forced New York to settle for a 48-yard field goal. **COLTS 6, JETS 17

A fumble by running back Joseph Addai on first down give the Jets the ball back at Indy's 29.**

SECOND QUARTER (4:53 remaining)**

Following the second Colts field goal of the game, the Jets put up their second touchdown of the contest, scoring on a nine-yard touchdown pass from Sanchez to tight end Dustin Keller.

New York moved into scoring position after wide receiver Brad Smith, a former college quarterback, threw a 45-yard completion to wide receiver Jerrico Cotchery out of the Wildcat formation. The long completion moved the Jets all the way to the Colts' 12. COLTS 6, JETS 14

SECOND QUARTER (8:44 remaining)

The Colts put together another lengthy scoring drive, but came away with just three points once again.

The offense drove the ball all the way to the Jets' goal line, but New York stopped the Colts short when Manning snuck the ball up the middle on 3rd-and-goal. From there, Stover converted a 19-yard attempt to draw the Colts within one. **COLTS 6, JETS 7

SECOND QUARTER (14:45 remaining)

**

The Jets responded to the Colts' score quickly with an 80-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Mark Sanchez to wide receiver Braylon Edwards on the first play of the ensuing drive. **COLTS 3, JETS 7

SECOND QUARTER (14:56 remaining)

The Colts scored the first points of the game with a 25-yard field goal from kicker Matt Stover. Indianapolis' first scoring drive spanned 82 yards over eight plays, highlighted by a 36-yard catch by wide receiver Pierre Garcon. COLTS 3, JETS 0

As the first quarter comes to a close, the Colts have the ball and are in position to score.

After beginning the drive on their own 11, the Colts offense struck quickly with a short pass to tight end Dallas Clark and a 12-yard rush by rookie running back Donald Brown. Later, wide receiver Pierre Garcon caught two long passes -- one for 27, another for 36, to move the ball into New York's red zone.

But a screen pass on third down stopped the Colts short of the end zone, setting them up

for a short field-goal attempt when the second quarter begins. **

The Colts defense forced the Jets three-and-out, stopping New York on a pass play on first down and stuffing them at the line on second and third.

After a 61-yard punt, the Colts take over from their 11.**

A three-and-out by the offense forced the Colts to punt once again. New York's Jerrico Cotchery returned the 56-yard punt 12 yards and the Jets will take over from their own 24.

On their first possession of the game, the Jets were able to move the ball down the field, but came away with zero points after kicker Jay Feely missed a 44-yard field goal.

After moving the ball into Colts territory, the Jets were stuffed at the line on two consecutive plays, losing a combined five yards. Facing 3rd-and-15 from Indy's 27, Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez completed a screen pass to wide receiver Brad Smith but netted only one yard. Following that play, Feely missed the field goal wide right.

Indianapolis takes over from their own 34.

FIRST QUARTER (12:50 remaining)

After winning the toss and electing to receive, running back Chad Simpson returned the opening kick-off to Indianapolis' 30.

From there, quarterback Peyton Manning opened the game with a 13-yard completion to wide receiver Reggie Wayne on the first play from scrimmage.

But the Colts failed to get much going on offense after that and were forced to punt. Rookie Pat McAfee's kick sailed 36 yards before being fair caught at New York's 39.

Former Colts running back Edgerrin James, the franchise's all-time leading rusher, and United States Army soldier and Medal of Honor recipient Sammy Davis will serve as Colts honorary co-captains today.

The following Colts are inactive today… K-Adam Vinatieri, WR-Sam Giguere, DB-Jerraud Powers, TE-Colin Cloherty, OT-Michael Toudouze, OG-Mike Pollak, DE-Ervin Baldwin and DT-Fili Moala.
