The Colts turned in another goal-line stand, this time stopping the Titans five times after they moved the ball to Indianapolis' 1. Titans quarterback Vince Young threw and incompletion on fourth down and the Colts will take over from their own 2. **

The Colts defense shut down the Titans on their first possession off the half and forced Tennessee to punt. Rushing called for a fair catch and Indianapolis will take over from their own 18.**

HALFTIME – COLTS 24, TITANS 10

The Colts scampered into field-goal range in under 18 seconds and kicker Matt Stover converted the 43-yard attempt to give the Colts a 14-point lead headed into the half. **

Following Lacey's interception, the Colts marched methodically downfield and scored their third touchdown of the half. Manning hit rookie wide receiver Austin Collie on a four-yard touchdown pass over the middle for the score. **COLTS 21, TITANS 3

For the second consecutive drive, the Titans turned the ball over on third down. Quarterback Vince Young rolled out of the pocket and threw an interception to rookie cornerback Jacob Lacey. Lacey returned the pick to Tennessee's 42 where the offense will take over.

An early touchdown has the Colts ahead, but a Titans field goal cut the lead to four. As the first quarter comes to a close, Indianapolis has the ball on Tennessee's 33. Wide receiver Pierre Garcon closes the quarter with three catches for 99 yards.

As good as the Colts have been this season, sometimes it's just better to be lucky. After winning the toss and electing to receive, quarterback Peyton Manning completed a 27-yard pass on the first play from scrimmage that bounced off rookie Austin Collie's hands into wide receiver Pierre Garcon's. Two plays later, Manning found Garcon again over the middle for 36 yards. From there, running back Joseph Addai punched the ball into end zone from eight yards out to give the Colts their opening score. COLTS 7, TITANS 0
