HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (general comments) DetroitLions vs. IndianapolisColts 8/25/07

"We won a pre-season game.  I thank the team for winning so we wouldn't have to answer those questions.  There were a lot of good things out there.  Our third pre-season game, we had some long drives on offense where we kind of created some problems and were able to overcome them.  I thought our defense did a good job of going out there and playing aggressively. We saw some young guys show up on the special teams.  So other than the two fumbles with our young receivers, it was a pretty good day's work."

HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on players' performances) DetroitLions vs. IndianapolisColts 8/25/07

"A lot of guys did well from the areas we were looking at.  I thought Tim Jennings (DB) went in and played real well with the second group as a nickel-back and did some good things in there.  I thought our returners did a good job of handling the ball and running.  Craphonso Thorpe (WR) obviously had a big night.  Some of our young guys got in and did a good job.  It was good to see.  I thought our first group set the tempo really well and we didn't have much drop.  I thought Jim (Sorgi) threw the ball well and got a lot of one-on-ones to throw against and he did a good job."

HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on running game) DetroitLions vs. IndianapolisColts 8/25/07

"I thought all the guys did well.  They didn't get a lot of chances to run because there were so many eight-man fronts and blitz-type looks, we ended up throwing the ball a lot.  But they protected well for the most part
