TENNESSEETITANS vs. INDIANAPOLISCOLTS POST-GAME QUOTES

HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (general comments) TennesseeTitans vs. IndianapolisColts 12/30/07

"It's disappointing in a lot of ways.  I thought we played hard and fought and we really wanted to get that 14th win.  We got to see some guys in some situations that were good to see and they got a taste of what type playoff football is all about.  We got a lot of things done, we just didn't quite get the score the way we wanted it.  But I have to congratulate the Titans, and I think it is a feather in our cap for our division to get three teams in the playoffs.  They certainly deserve it.  They are going to a tough team to play in there so we're glad we have a week off.  We will get some of the banged up guys healed up and get ready to go.  I thought our guys did a good job under the circumstances and we just needed a couple more plays at the end."

HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on tonight's game plan) TennesseeTitans vs. IndianapolisColts 12/30/07

"We had some things in mind.  We started really wanting to throw the ball and wanted to get Marvin (Harrison) going but that didn't work out tonight, so once that plan was out the window then it really was to get Reggie (Wayne) the 100 catches. That is something that doesn't happen very often.  We wanted to do that and we got that done.  Didn't score, we had hoped to have the lead when our first group went out.  That was probably the one thing we wanted that we didn't accomplish but all in all it wasn't a bad night."

HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on offensive plan) TennesseeTitans vs. IndianapolisColts 12/30/07

"We wanted to be sharp with our first offense.  We wanted to move the ball.  We thought we were going to throw it more and we did, and we wanted to have the lead.  We knew those guys were not going to play the full game so we wanted to try to get the lead and see if we could hold it, and that was the one thing we didn't do.  We didn't score when we got down there in the red zone."
