Colts Sign Seventh-Round Picks Conner, Fisher
INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts announced on Monday the club has signed two seventh-round draft picks, LB-Kavell Conner and DB-Ray Fisher.
Conner (6-0, 242) totaled 263 career tackles as a two-year starter at Clemson, and also had three sacks, six forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
Fisher (5-9, 185), a four-year player at Indiana, spent three seasons at wide receiver before switching to defensive back as a senior. He also saw time as a return specialist, returning two kickoffs for touchdowns last season.
Conner and Fisher are the first two draft picks to sign with the team. The club reports to training camp at Anderson University on Sunday, August 1.
