"They played awfully well. You have to give them a lot of credit. Obviously they matched up with us, made a lot of plays and certainly kept us from running the ball. But defensively we hung in there for a while, kept them out of the end zone there for a while, kept them kicking field goals. Against that team you better score some touchdowns or you're going to have some problems."

"Well it's always a collective effort. The defense I thought played extremely hard, no question about that. Played really well in some spurts. It takes a full team effort to get it done. Against a team like that you can't be lacking in any area. We just weren't sharp. Twenty points off turnovers, giving them that many points on turnovers, we had five of them, it is uncharacteristic of us. They are going to capitalize on them."

"We had a lot of problems out there. We didn't run it very well, and obviously we didn't pass protect well enough. But all those things I think are correctable. I think those are the things we just have to go back and work on and see what our problems were. I think most of those were technique issues more so than anything else. I do believe we can get those straightened out. Unfortunately we didn't take advantage of an opportunity that we had in terms of getting a win there. So we are still in the same position that we were before the game, in terms of our division race."

"The first drive, you have to say that we came out and we did start fast. We just didn't follow it up. Nevertheless going into halftime you still think that you are in striking distance. We don't feel that we're completely out of it, and particularly with the turnovers we had in the first half. We just couldn't put it back together again in that third quarter."

"I thought that was big. I think we have done a pretty good job, throughout the year thus far, ending the first half pretty well. We were in pretty good shape going into halftime. We felt good. "I think we see often that it's not always the on quarterback in terms of turnovers. There are a lot of factors-guys have to get open, good pass protection. A couple [turnovers] were caused by the fact he [Peyton Manning] was hit and the ball was up in the air, so it's not all on him. He [Peyton Manning] is certainly a guy that plays and plays well. We have to pass protect for him and give him a better running game."

It would be a different situation if maybe in our division there was an undefeated team or we were out of first place. But that is not the case. We are in first place and we have some games to correct our problems. We are going to go out there and do what we have to do."
