HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on what he sees from New England on tape) Wednesday, October 31, 2007

"I've watched them and really they're the same as they've been.  They're very impressive in that they don't beat themselves.  That's probably the first thing that you see.  You don't see a lot of errors.  You see very sound play in all three phases of the game.  I think their kickoff return and kickoff coverage is as impressive as anything they do.  And that tells you how well-coached they are.  Defensively, they're very similar to the team that we've always seen.  They have just added a couple of more cogs.  They have (Rodney) Harrison back and (Richard) Seymour played last week and (Adalius) Thomas, so they have some more weaponry there, but they play very solid.  They run and hit, and they're hard to move the ball on.  Offensively, they're doing a little bit more with three wide receivers.  They have some explosive guys.  They're very sound, they don't beat themselves.  It's kind of like we always say, when you play them, you have to avoid losing the game first, and then we'll work on winning it."

HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on if it is important to remember it is still a regular-season game) Wednesday, October 31, 2007

"You have to try to keep it in perspective, and we looked at that with the team this morning, that you want to win and there may be some things riding on it.  Everybody's saying home field advantage or whatever, but neither team is in the playoffs yet.  We don't know where that whole thing is going to go.  But obviously two good teams and just the pride of playing.  You want to come out and you want to win.  And for us, we have to keep ourselves in front in our division.  Everybody behind us is winning and that kind of thing.  It is a big game, but it is still a regular-season game and it's not a game where if you lose, you go home.  And if you win, it really doesn't guarantee you anything."

HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on if it will be critical making adjustments as you go because you don't know how the Patriots will start out the game) Wednesday, October 31, 2007

"They have a little bit of a different, you don't know what to expect early in the game.  They're going to settle into something that they feel like they can attack you with.  The big thing, I think you just have to keep your poise and play and know there are going to be ebbs and flows in the game, and you're going to have to play 60 minutes to beat them because they're not going to stop playing."

HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on if everyone will be back this week) Wednesday, October 31, 2007

"Hard to say.  We'll look at it today.  We got rested up in some areas, we got banged up in a couple of physical games.  So we have some guys that we'll see what they can do in practice today."

HEAD COACH TONY DUNGY (on K-Adam Vinatieri talking about the similarities between QBs-Peyton Manning and Tom Brady) Wednesday,

"I don't know Tom that well.  As a matter of fact, the last time we played them in the (AFC) Championship Game, I talked to him and it was the first time I had ever talked to him.  We talked a little bit during warm-ups and I told him how much respect I had for him and then after being around Adam and Dan Klecko and guys that we had from New England, the way that they describe him, you just get that much more respect for him.
