Indianapolis has signed free agent wide receiver Jeremy Ross.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts signed wide receiver Jeremy Ross to a Reserve/Future contract.

Ross, 5-11, 213 pounds, was signed by the Colts to the practice squad on September 28 where he remained for the rest of the regular season. He was originally signed by the New England Patriots as a rookie free agent on July 27, 2011, but was waived on August 30.

Ross attended the University of California where he played in 43 games with 14 starts and recorded 57 catches for 764 yards and three touchdowns. He also totaled 2,287 all-purpose yards with an average of 53.2 yards per game.
