PRE-GAME

Tonight marks the final preseason contest for the Colts as they battle the Cincinnati Bengals. The two teams have concluded preseason play the last eight seasons by playing against each other.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET.

Special Notes about Tonight's Game:
- The NFL will experiment with an eighth on-field official tonight. The NFL has tried this at three other preseason games this year. The eighth official will be positioned in the defensive backfield. He will be primarily responsible for watching eligible receivers and also reduces the number of players the officials are responsible for watching on a given play. The presence of the eighth official is for preseason only and will not be implemented in the 2010 regular season.

  • The Colts are being honored at tonight's game with the NFL's 2009 Outstanding Financial Education Program Award for Excellence in programs and resources for financial management.
  • The team and USA Football are saluting 11 Central Indiana Football Programs tonight. The Colts and USA Football have awarded more than $40,000 in football equipment grants this summer based on merit and need to offset costs and ensure positive a football experience. The 11 programs being honored tonight will share a $25,000 grant.
