COLTS COME BACK AGAIN

The Indianapolis Colts mounted their seventh fourth-quarter comeback victory to continue their perfect season with a thrilling 35-31 win over Jacksonville Thursday night.

**

The Colts continued their perfect season Thursday night with a thrilling 35-31 comeback victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Quarterback Peyton Manning completed 23-of-30 passes on the night for 308 yards and four touchdowns. **

FOURTH QUARTER (0:57 remaining)

**

In need of a timely turnover to seal victory, rookie cornerback Jacob Lacey came up with a clutch interception on 3rd-and-10 to end Jacksonville's drive. **

FOURTH QUARTER (2:31 remaining)

**

Defensive tackle Eric Foster came up with his second huge play of the game, a seven-yard sack of Garrard on 3rd-and-13. The sack forced Jacksonville to punt and Indianapolis' offense will start the ensuing drive from their own 26. **

FOURTH QUARTER (5:23 remaining)

**

With the Colts facing 3rd-and-5 from their own 35, Manning bought time in the pocket before airing out a 65-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Reggie Wayne, his longest catch of the season. Manning has now thrown four touchdown passes in back-to-back games. **COLTS 35, JAGUARS 31

Coming up with a clutch stop, the Colts defense forced Jacksonville three-and-out. After a penalty, the Colts will take over on offense from their own 30.**

A third-down pass attempt to Clark fell incomplete over the middle of the field and the Colts were forced to punt for only the second time this game. Punter Pat McAfee's kick pinned Jacksonville to the 12, and a holding penalty pushes the Jaguars back to their own 7**.

The Colts defense forced its first punt of the game after safety Antoine Bethea broke up a Garrard pass attempt on third down. Indy will take over on offense from their own 10.

For the eighth time this game, the Colts and the Jaguars exchanged the lead, as Jacksonville scored on a 13-yard pass from Garrard to wide receiver Mike Thomas, the team's second touchdown of the quarter. **COLTS 28, JAGUARS 31

The Colts offense quickly made up for an interception on the last drive with a touchdown on their next, the team's fourth score of the game. Clark caught a 27-yard pass from Manning for the score, in which he broke several tackles before reching the end zone. The touchdown marks Clark's second of the game and Manning's third TD pass. Indy's scoring drive went 80 yards in just over three minutes and featured two Reggie Wayne catches for a combined 37 yards. **COLTS 28, JAGUARS 24

Manning completed his first 13 passes of the game before Jaguars linebacker Daryl Smith intercepted Manning's 14th attempt off a tipped ball. Jacksonville takes over from Indy's 39. **

An explosive first half ended with a Jacksonville missed field goal, as the Colts lead 21-17 headed into the break. With the exception of the Jaguars' last drive, which started with just 35 seconds left on the clock, both teams scored on every offensive possession in the first half. Manning's perfect two quarters (12-of-12 for two touchdowns) and Simpson's 93-yard kick-off return highlights an offense-heavy first half for the Colts. **

The Colts offense put together its second touchdown in as many drives, moving 68 yards down field in two minutes and 23 seconds and scoring on a 23-yard pass to rookie wide receiver Austin Collie. Manning is 12-for-12 on the night with 116 receiving yards and two touchdowns**. COLTS 21, JAGUARS 17

After catching a touchdown pass earlier in the quarter, Jones-Drew scored his second touchdown on a three-yard rush up the middle, continuing a high-scoring second quarter. The Jacksonville running back has rushed 14 times for 73 yards on the night. **COLTS 14, JAGUARS 17

The Colts wasted no time getting back on the scoreboard, as running back Chad Simpson returned the Jaguars' ensuing kick-off 93 yards for a touchdown. The touchdown is the first the Colts have scored on a kick-off since 2004. **COLTS 14, JAGUARS 10

The Jaguars responded to the Colts' touchdown drive with one of their own. The Jags scored on a nine-yard touchdown pass from Garrard to running back Maurice Jones-Drew. Jacksonville's scoring drive lasted nearly six minutes and went 61 yards. **COLTS 7, JAGUARS 10

SECOND QUARTER (14:13 remaining)

**

For the seventh time this season, the most of any team in the NFL, the Colts scored a touchdown on their opening drive of the game. Manning orchestrated a 14-play, 80-yard drive that was capped off by a six-yard touchdown pass to tight end Dallas Clark. Clark juggled the ball in the end zone before reeling in the pass on his back.

The score marks Manning's 30th touchdown pass and Clark's ninth TD catch on the season. **COLTS 7, JAGUARS 3

A quick first quarter ends with the Colts inside the Jaguars' red zone and threatening to score. Quarterback Peyton Manning is 6-of-6 on the team's opening drive for 58 yards. The second quarter will begin with the Colts facing 2nd-and-9 from Jacksonville's 11.**

Jacksonville's first drive of the game lasted over seven minutes, but resulted in just a field goal after Colts defensive tackle Eric Foster stripped Jaguars quarterback David Garrard on 3rd-and-1 from Indy's 22. The Jaguars recovered the ball, but the play resulted in a loss of five, and kicker Josh Scobee connected on a 50-yard attempt.  COLTS 0, JAGUARS 3
