Colts TE Dallas Clark Blog-January 15

It's that time of year, and the playoffs are here. It's a new season for us, and we know that. Unfortunately, we learned that the hard way in 2005 and 2007, and if there's one thing those two seasons taught us, it is that the regular season, the record, the bye, the attention, none of it matters. It doesn't guarantee you anything. This is a different team, a different season. The final eight teams left right now are all outstanding, and we're going to have to play Colts football in order to move on. You just have to be focused, a little bit sharper, because this is when everyone plays their best football.

I think Coach Caldwell has done a great job preparing us, and I think we have had a couple weeks of great practice. The bye week we treated almost like training camp, working on us, things we felt we needed to improve on. Practice was intense, the ones vs. ones, and it was a lot of fun, bringing out the competitiveness in everyone.

Everyone seems to talk about the pressure of the playoffs, but this is what we play for. This is the fun time of year, where all the work you put in from the summer until now pays off. It's win and move on, or lose and go home. The group that we have, the way we've fought together this year, I just think we're all anxious to get out there and play Saturday night. We're going to need everyone against a tough Baltimore team, including our 12th man. GO COLTS!
