Yesterday we traveled to Rockville for our eleventh MIP tour stop, and there were plenty of memorable moments. First, Alison was in charge for the day. Our tour stop was located at the Rockville Town Square and Alison had a flawless design for the day and everything went very well.
Second, Brian was sent to the end of the line to cut off the autograph line so the players could stay on schedule. I decided to join him and interview the last person in line. The one fatal flaw with putting Brian at the end of the line, is that he has a hard time saying no. According to the lady I was interviewing, Brian has too big of a heart. Then she pointed out the fact that he has to have a bigger heart because he is so tall. She then said she felt very short compared to Brian and preceded to sing the munchkin song. It was fantastic.
Also during the tour stop, "Super Fan" (you might have seen him in some of my pictures, he wears all Colts stuff and even has a very unique Colts hat) had almost as long as an autograph line as the players did.
Since, Alison was in charge, I worked the Kids Club gazebo. I'm pretty sure we had record sign ups. Before the event even started, we had nine sign ups. Kids Club might just be the coolest club a kid can join, and if I were 14, I would sign up for Kids Club.
Today we are traveling to the Peru Junior High School parking lot from 4:00–6:00 PM, and I am in charge. My fellow interns have set the bar high, so I need to start game planning.
See you there!
