Colts Add Offensive Tackle Adam Terry

The Indianapolis Colts have agreed to terms with offensive tackle Adam Terry, the club announced Monday.

Terry (6-8, 335) enters his sixth NFL season. He originally was a 2005 second-round draft choice by Baltimore and has started 18 of 48 games in his five NFL seasons. Terry missed the 2009 season due to injury. A restricted free agent, Terry was not tendered an offer by Baltimore, making him a free agent eligible to sign with any NFL team.

Terry's addition to the offensive line comes after the signing of fourth-year veteran guard Andy Alleman on March 11.

2008: Appeared in 12 games, starting seven at RT…missed three games due to knee injury and one game due to concussion…also saw extensive action at TE in unbalanced line towards end of season…helped Baltimore rush for 2,376 yards and franchise-record 20 TDs…also was part of line that helped rookie QB-Joe Flacco go 257-428-2,971, 14TDs. POST-SEASON: Saw action in three games at Miami 1/4 in Wild Card Playoffs, at Tennessee 1/10 in Divisional Playoffs and at Pittsburgh 1/18 in AFC Championship Game.

2007: Started nine of 13 games at RT…helped Baltimore passing game to franchise-record 341 passes for 3,308 yards…club also rushed for 1,797 yards and 11 TDs.

2006: Saw action in all 16 games, starting two at LT…club allowed franchise-record 17 sacks, 2nd fewest (15, Colts) in NFL…also helped club total 1,637 yards and 11 TDs rushing. POST-SEASON: Saw action in first-career playoff game on special teams against Indianapolis 1/13 in Divisional Playoffs.

2005: Saw action in seven games as a rookie, primarily on special teams.

COLLEGE: Four-year letterman who started 35 of 39 career games at RT…started 13 games and was First-Team All-Big East selection as senior…was selected to play in 2005 Senior Bowl…won Syracuse's Ben Schwartz Exemplary Football Player Award…started 12 games at LT as junior…was Second-Team All-Big East choice…started 11 games as sophomore…played in four games as freshman…saw action in Insight.com Bowl…holds degree in history.
