Austin Collie Named Finalist for Rookie-of-the-Week Honor

INDIANAPOLIS – Colts wide receiver Austin Collie has been named a finalist for NFL Rookie-of-the-Week honors, the NFL announced on Tuesday. Fans can vote for winners on NFL.com/rookies from 9 a.m. (ET) on Tuesday through noon (ET) on Friday.

Collie had a team-high six receptions for 94 yards last Sunday against the New York Jets. Collie leads all NFL rookies in receptions (59) and touchdown receptions (7).

Collie's 59 receptions currently rank fourth among rookies in franchise history (65, Bill Brooks, 1986; 64, Marvin Harrison, 1996; 62, Edgerrin James, 1999), while his 661 receiving yards rank fifth-most all-time among Colts rookies (1,131, Bill Brooks, 1986; 836, Marvin Harrison, 1996; 820, Andre Rison, 1989; 726, John Mackey, 1963) and his seven touchdown receptions are one short of the Colts rookie record (8, Bill Brooks, 1986; 8, Marvin Harrison, 1996; 7, John Mackey, 1963).

Also nominated for NFL Rookie-of-the-Week honors were Houston's Brian Cushing, Philadelphia's Jeremy Maclin, Cleveland's Mohamed Massaquoi and Atlanta's Chris Owens.
