Hello Colts fans! Today I woke up in my hometown, Henderson, KY, after a great couple of days celebrating Christmas with my family. We stayed and ate breakfast with everyone, and then hit the road to head up to Chicagoland to visit my husband Pete's mom. Since it is about a 6 hour drive from western Kentucky, we decided to stop at home and watch the Colts game to break up the drive. What a great game against Oakland! I am so excited for our last home game against Tennessee - I think we have an amazing chance at making the playoffs! After the game was over, we hopped back in the car to drive up to Merrillville. We got in town around 9 p.m. and exchanged presents as soon as we got there J. Pete's mom Cathy got us a gift certificate to use at a day spa in town. I cannot wait to get a massage – I need one!

Good morning! Today we slept in a little bit and all got ready before going out to eat and shop at the mall in Merrillville. I was able to book a couple's massage on short notice so after shopping for a couple of hours we headed over to the spa so we could use our gift cards! It was great – they took us to a relaxation room before our treatment where we sat in heated recliners in front of a fireplace. The massage was awesome – I think I fell asleep halfway through it! After we were done, Cathy picked us up and she had a little girl named Farrah with her that she babysits during the week. Pete had the GREAT idea of taking her to Chuck E. Cheese (so we could play ski ball). I think we probably spent about $20 in tokens and half an hour playing ski ball, which is my absolute favorite arcade game. And who got the high score – me! I have to rub that in Pete's face whenever I can J. Farrah's parents came to pick her up and we all decided to go eat dinner at Olive Garden…mmmm! When we got home we played Mexican Train dominos for about three hours. It may sound lame, but that game is addicting! We bought it after playing it all day on Christmas at my Nana's house. We all got tired and stopped playing sometime after midnight to go to bed. Good night!

Time to get up and do some more shopping! Ah, don't you love the holidays? We decided to head up to the Woodfield mall, which is huge and has lots of great stores. On the way, we stopped by Portillo's to try their famous hot dogs (Sara F. is from Chicago and recommended that we go there). After doing some serious shopping at Urban Outfitters, Abercrombie, and Bare Escentuals, my Christmas money was gone and it was time to go back to Merrillville. We watched Despicable Me (which I highly recommend!) before going to bed. Another great day up north, but tomorrow leave to come back to Indianapolis!

After eating our favorite homemade breakfast (French toast!) we packed up all our stuff to head back home. As soon as we got back, I had to hop back in the car to get my hair done at Tyler Mason Salon and Spa, our official sponsor. I love getting my hair done – it means less washing, drying, and styling that I have to do! The stylist who normally does my hair was on maternity leave so I had someone new cut my hair. All the stylists at Tyler Mason are great, and she did a fabulous job. Pete and I were pretty beat after driving all day, so we just vegged out in front of the TV for the rest of the night. Buenos Noches!

Today I agreed to help Pete out at work (he has his own medical practice and straightening out billing issues at the end of the year is always a nightmare) but first I had to meet Theresa, the Colts Cheerleader director, and Annette, the team's seamstress, to get fitted for Pro Bowl outfits to wear in Hawaii! I was chosen to represent the Colts Cheerleaders at this year's Pro Bowl, which was a completely unexpected and amazing honor! We looked through a few things that girls had worn in the past, and Annette tailored them to fit me, plus designed a couple of new things for me to wear. Everything turned out so cute and I am so excited to represent the Colts in Hawaii in a month! After the fitting, I ran over to Pete's office to work on some things. Dealing with insurance companies all day is not fun! I left around 4:30 to go home and get ready for practice. Tonight we are working with the Fishers High School cheerleaders. They won a competition in which they get to perform with us at halftime of the Tennessee game. The girls are great! The routine is awesome and they really have a lot of talent. After dancing and preparing for the game for three hours, I was ready to come home and crash. See you in the morning!

New Year's Eve! My parents were planning on coming up today to visit for the weekend and watch the game on Sunday, but my mom ended up getting the flu so they held off on coming up until tomorrow. Pete and I had lots of errands to run, plus we went to eat lunch and I made him go see Tangled with me J. I don't think he would admit it but he liked it. We were the only people in that theater without kids and he was laughing louder than anyone! Since we were planning on my parents being in town, we didn't really make any big New Year's plans, but I managed to get a late dinner reservation at Palomino downtown. It's always fun to get dressed up and go out to eat! The dinner was amazing. I had the Rigatoni which I highly recommend. Soooo good! I know it is super lame, but we were so tired after eating that we skipped out on a friend's party and went home. Ugh, we are getting old! I hope you had a wonderful and safe night!

Happy New Year's! Today is always such a lazy day. My dad ended up coming in town by himself since my mom is still feeling bad. We ate lunch and went to see The Fighter at the theater (we like movies, if you couldn't tell). It was REALLY good – go see it! After that I ran to Sun Tan City, also a sponsor of ours, to get a spray tan for the game tomorrow. It's a great alternative to the tanning bed – instant color and none of the harmful UV rays! Then I got to sit around and watch the Rose Bowl with Pete and my dad. No big plans tonight – I have to get some rest before the game tomorrow! I hope you and your family had a great holiday season and thank you for spending your week with me! GO COLTS!!!
