Hello Colts Fans!! I am one of the many rookies this year on the team! I have enjoyed every minute of each appearance, practice, and of course the games! Although I am excited for a much needed week off, it will be so weird not seeing Theresa and the girls at practice! This morning I woke up around 8:30 and started to get ready for my day! I went to church, went to lunch with my boyfriend, Mitch, went with my mom to watch friends in a pageant, and spent the rest of the day with Mitch and his family. Because of both of our busy schedules, it was nice to have the day with him. We ate steak for dinner and watched the Colts game with his family! Although the game was nerve racking, I was able to go to bed in a good mood because the Colts won! Go Colts!

Monday- October 18th, 2010

This morning I woke up very rested and was ready to start my day. Saturday's work out at Core Pilates made me very sore and I am finally returning to my normal state again! After getting ready and having lunch, I left for the studio I teach dance at. On Monday's, I teach five dance classes to wonderful little girls ages 3-9. My day of teaching starts at 2:00 pm and ends at 7:00 pm. As much as I love teaching dance, I am always so exhausted after Mondays! Little girls have so much energy, and I somehow have to keep up with them! I am always so hungry after teaching on Monday's, so I went home and ate, took a relaxing bath, read, and hit the sack!

Tuesday- October 19th, 2010

It's now Tuesday morning! Luckily, I was able to sleep in this morning and regain some energy! On most Tuesday's I try to practice dances on my own that we will be reviewing later that night at practice. Because we are off this week, rather than practicing I decided to pick up around the house and take my dog, Lucky, on a long walk! Or maybe I should say I let him walk me! Lucky is a beautiful blue-eyed Husky that has so much energy and basically drags me down the sidewalk! When he was officially "tired out" I left for the studio to start choreography. Our studio is having a small recital in November and I have many dances that still need to be choreographed and taught to my classes! Needing a break from dancing, I walked down to the coffee shop and checked emails, read, and relaxed with a chocolate mocha until it was time to walk back to teach the dances I made up earlier! Not having practice tonight, I was able to spend some extra time with my family and boyfriend before heading to bed!

Wednesday- October 20th, 2010

This morning I woke up and realized that I had more choreography that needed to be finished before teaching dance. I got ready, ate, and started choreographing early to get it done and out of the way. I then took a break and met my boyfriend downtown. We walked to a cute restaurant and he bought my lunch. Yumm!   I then walked to the coffee shop and looked at classes online for next semester. I always procrastinate so I thought it would be a good idea to start looking and sign up early! Before I knew it, 3:00 came and it was time to start teaching at the studio! Wednesday's may not be as many hours as Monday's, but still tiring! When I finished at 7:00pm I drove home and quickly changed in time for Mitch to pick me up to see Jackass 3D. He loved it, but I personally thought it was pretty gross! I then came home, read, and got ready for bed!

Thursday- October 21st, 2010

Today I woke up and received my Halloween costume in the mail! This year for the November 1st game we are going to cheer in Halloween costumes! All of the girls are so excited! I am planning on being a Nile Queen. I loved the costume in the picture, but I love it even more now that I have it! Unfortunately, the top was a bit too big…so I got out my handy hot glue gun and got to work! I can now proudly say my costume fits. After I finished it, I went to the Halloween store to buy some sandals to wear with my outfit.   Then I went to the coffee shop on my way to the studio to get something to perk me up! Tonight I taught the high school dance class the opening number for our upcoming show. It is African and looks really good so far! I can't wait to see the finished product on stage. My mom, my friend Erica, and I then went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant after we closed up the studio. It was so good! Then I went home and read more of my book from the Private Series by Kate Brian and drifted to sleep!

Friday- October 22nd, 2010

This morning I was very eager to finish my book! Once I did, I was ready for the next one, so I ordered it online and can't wait for it to come in! I love reading and always feel like I have to have a good book in hand! After that, my dad and I talked on the phone for a while and caught up!   We try to get together for breakfast or lunch once a week, but he wasn't feeling well, so we will have to wait until next week! It's finally Friday and I can relax! The weather was so nice so Lucky and I went on another walk to enjoy being outside before winter comes! Then, I ate lunch and went to Mitch's for a few hours before he had to leave for work. That evening my mom and I went for dinner. One of my close friends, Bri, from high school called and said she was in town, so we rented a movie and talked for a long time! It was so good to see her again. After she left, my friend Erica came over and once again we stayed up too late! Next thing I knew I was fast asleep.

Saturday- October 23, 2010

Today was a fun day! I slept in, ate a toaster strudel, and then started getting ready for the appearance I was scheduled for. After getting ready I quickly ate and left for Greenfield. After what seemed like forever because of so much traffic, I finally arrived and met Kimberly at the appearance. This particular event was for the officer who was involved in the hit and run accident recently. From the auction to the big slide to the band, there was plenty going on to keep my attention! It was a lot of fun and was nice to get back into the groove of Cheerleading stuff after our week off! I then headed back home and ate dinner. My friend, Erica, and I then went to the movie theatre to see Life As We Know It. It was so good and made me cry! By that time I was exhausted! We stayed up late talking and then went to bed! Have to get some rest for church! That's it for my week! Have a Happy Halloween and I hope to see you all November 1st for Monday Night football! Go Colts!
