July 25th

Let me start off by introducing myself. I'm Shelby and I'm here to make you enjoy Colt's football more than ever! I am one of the rookies ready to rock the stadium. Today is Sunday which means rest day for me. I usually spend my Sundays relaxing and hanging out with my family. Today was a little different J I actually did an appearance at the Expo Bowl off of Emerson in Greenwood. This appearance was with all of the jr. cheerleaders. This was an amazing experience. We got to interact with the girls and have all sorts of fun. I was never a really good bowler but during my first game I somehow bowled four strikes! I was so excited, and it was really something to see the smile on those little girls faces. After the bowling I went out to dinner with some of my family members to Red Robin in Plainfield. I have a really big family so I enjoy every minute I get to spend with them.

July 26th

Well Good Monday! Today is the day that I begin my new job. I just started as a waitress at a local restaurant. I have never been a waitress so I'm pretty nervous! I hope I don't dump anything on anyone's head. Wish me Luck!

Ok well the work day is over. Luckily I didn't dump anything on anyone, and I still have my job. After I got off work I went over to Sun Tan City and tanned in the instant bed, my favorite. After tanning I was pretty hungry so I went and grabbed a sub, have to watch that girlie figure for the first game. I just got done watching a couple movies with my mother and some friends. We watched Avatar! That's a really long and interesting movie. I think the Avatars are secretly Colts fans since they are all Blue haha.

July 27th

My alarm went off to the song of Thriller by Michael Jackson. Great way to start the day. I was so exhausted but I knew I had to workout so I went to the gym then came back home before going to work. I had a good day at work. Some of my friends came in to visit me, which made the day go faster. Right after work was over I came home to rehearse my routines before practice then headed to the dance studio. Practice went really well. We learned some new routines for our first game on August fifteenth. I am so excited for the first game! All this hard work is definitely going to pay off.

July 28th

I didn't have to wait for Michael Jackson to wake me up. My dog jumped in my bed and gave me a big kiss to start my morning. My dog's name is Roxy, so after she woke me up I decided to take her outside for a while and play some games and try to teach her some new tricks. We went through a whole box of treats! Don't tell my mom J I taught her how to say "I love you" which isn't in English but you can definitely understand her. She is so smart. A couple hours later I headed to the gym and I mainly focused on my abs and legs. I alternate each day between my legs, core, and arms. Later that night I had an appearance at a military base. The soldiers had just got back from overseas, so we played football, basketball, and corn hole. It was really cool to talk to them and hear about their different adventures.

July 29th

Today is my day off. I went and picked up my grandma to take her out to lunch. Now that I am a Colts cheerleader she thinks that she always has to be dressed up in Blue and White. She is eighty four and could run circles around me. She is probably the funniest person I have met in my entire life. No matter what she always has me laughing and smiling. She has nine children which means I have a lot of cousins and aunts and uncles. My family is my life! They mean the world to me and I would do anything for them. Well I dropped my grandma off at home around five and then headed to practice. We actually worked out first this time then rehearsed our dances. All of the veterans received their championship rings which were amazing! Then we got to see our calender! I was so excited to see how it was all put together. Now I am heading to bed to get some rest for a long day at work tomorrow. Goodnight to all.

July 30th

Waking up to Michael Jackson is amazing before heading to work. I worked until six and then came home to all my aunts baking cupcakes and cakes in my kitchen. I loved that. They were baking for my aunt's birthday.   I call her Nanny, and I always have. A couple of my little cousins came over and one of them spilled their chili hotdog on our white carpet…Oops. So I tried to hurry and clean it before he could get in trouble. We then went outside and played basketball while our aunts were baking all these goodies. Later that night I invited a couple friends over for a girls night. We usually try to get together once a week to catch up and chat with each other. We had popcorn and did our nails, then watched some movies. Now I am heading to bed because I am exhausted. The first game is getting closer than ever.

July 31st

Good morning! I woke up today and my mother and I went shopping for some of the items I want for my dorm room. Of course I love the color pink so all my blankets and lamps are pink. We went to Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, Wal-Mart, JC Penny's, and every where else imaginable. My mom loves shopping, especially for my school stuff. I bought a really pretty comforter and some cute bed pillows to go with it. I am going to be a junior in college so only two years left. I think I am going to get an apartment next year with a couple of my friends. Then we can decorate the whole house and fix it up. Later, I went to my aunt's birthday party with a couple of family members in Indianapolis. Our holidays and birthdays are a lot like family reunions.

August 1st

Hello there! Today was my sleep in day. Now I am just cleaning the house and enjoying the day off while getting my chores done around the house. I took the dog out for a walk before I went to work out. Man was today a tough one. I feel like I worked out every part of my body. I am just resting on the couch waiting for my mom to get home so I can start cooking dinner. I'm not the best cook in the world but I try. I just cooked chicken and rice for all of us with a baked potato and a salad. This is my all time favorite dinner, especially since I know how to cook it. I hope you all are enjoying your Sunday. I am so ready for this first game! Thank you for all your support! We love you
