Kate is originally from Medina, Ohio. Growing up, she endured 16 years of studio dance before taking her skills to the high school and collegiate levels. This official Buckeye attended Ohio State University where she studied textiles and clothing.
When she moved to Indiana, she knew cheering for the Colts would be a great opportunity to meet people in a new city. "I wanted to become a part of an organization that would allow me to build relationships with other girls and people in the community."
She also stays busy working for Tom James as a professional clothier. "I meet my clients at their office or home to help them build up their business and casual wardrobe." Her background in fashion merchandising makes her successful at dressing Indiana's high profile clientele. She enjoys shopping, traveling, and scrapbooking in her spare time.
This is Kate's second season with the Colts. She is enjoying her first year as a squad captain. Her hard work and attention to detail keeps her squad looking their best at every home game. Kate says her teammates motivate her to be a stronger person. "We have very successful and driven girls on our squad. Spending time with them each week is very encouraging."
Kate's plans for the future include growing in her career, having a large family, and continuing to cheer for the Colts. "We are an amazing group of girls with strong determination so I want to make sure the reputation continues with the years ahead."
