Erica is wrapping up her first season with the cheerleaders. Before trying out for the Colts, she had several years of dance instruction, including tap and jazz technique. Erica's enthusiasm and bright personality made her a perfect fit for the 2008-09 squad. "I think our role as the face of the Colts is a once in a lifetime opportunity."
Erica was born and raised in Bedford, IN. This small-town girl takes pride in her family, especially her parents. "They are both the most amazing people I have ever met…so loving and giving, hard-working, and so strong in faith." At an early age, she learned to put forth extra effort both on and off the field.
She recently graduated from the IU School of Dentistry and works as a full-time hygienist. "When I am not working or dancing, I try to spend as much time as possible with my family, friends and my dog, Evie." Her other interests include scuba diving, scrapbooking, and photography. Erica hopes to add a few more skills to her repertoire in the future. "I would absolutely love to learn how to play a guitar and the piano!"
Some of her technical dance talent will be showcased on the cheerleader military tour to the Mediterranean. Erica will display tap, hip-hop and comedic talent while on tour with 11 Colts Show Troupe members. "Being a Colts cheerleader has given me a new inner confidence in myself, not only in cheerleading, but in my personal life as well."
Her plans for the future include more traveling, buying a house, and starting a family with her husband. "I would just like to live my life to its absolute fullest, whatever that may include along the way!"
