Cheerleader of the Week - Britany G.

Cheerleader of the week - Britney G. diary

Monday November 7:

Hi there all my Colts fans! I'm Britney and this is my second year as a Colts Cheerleader!  I am so excited to be the Cheerleader of the Week because my birthday is this week! YAY! Today I went to class and started studying for my anatomy exam coming up in the next few weeks.. eek! I am majoring in dental hygiene so science classes take up the majority of my schedule. After a long day at IUPUI, I went home, grabbed a quick bite to eat and headed to LA Fitness to workout with Natalie H! Now it's time for bed!

Tuesday November 8:

Today I got up to take a class at LA Fitness! Their kickboxing classes are my favorite.  After working out I did some studying and then met Natalie H and headed to practice at Curtain Call Dance Studio! At practice we learned more of our half time routine for the Veteran's Day Game and auditioned our other dances for the game this weekend as well! Everyone looked great and gets to dance this weekend! I got home, showered and headed straight to bed. Sweet dreams! J

Wednesday November 9:

GOOD MORNING! Today is going to be a long, but fun day for me! I got to go to the Holiday Mart at the State Fairgrounds today with my mom and our friend Tracy! This place is every girl's dream.. it has all kinds of booths with clothes, jewelry, purses, makeup, fudge J and all kinds of adorable stuff for a VERY reasonable price! We had so much fun!! I had to leave a little early to go to my TRX workout at Core Pilates and Fitness.. I'm definitely going to feel that tomorrow!! After my workout I headed downtown to class, did some studying, went to do a little running at LA Fitness with Lauren M and then finally got some sleep!!!!!

Thursday November 10:

Happy Thursday! Today my mom and I did a little shopping and then met a couple of her friend's for a yummy lunch at Bravo's.. delicious! J After we got home, I went to the chiropractor, picked up Natalie H and we were off to practice! Practice was exciting tonight because all of the studios and dance teams who are performing half time with us were there! Michelle is a great choreographer and thanks to her we got our half time routine already for this weekend! We also learned a dance for the next game after all the studios left! I went home, showered and went straight to bed! Nighty night!

Friday November 11:

THANK GOODNESS IT'S FRIDAY!! J  Today I did some cleaning, studying, homework and a little workout.  I also met up with my friend Kristy at Texas Roadhouse for dinner! I haven't gotten to see her since the summer so I was very excited about that!

Saturday November 12:

Well good morning!! I met one of my best friend's, Melea, for Starbucks today and she gave me an early birthday present!! Then, me and almost everyone else on the squad, headed to teach the Junior Cheerleader's their dance for the Veteran's Day Game half time routine for tomorrow! After this, I went to church with my family since we wouldn't be able to go on Sunday! Lindsey F and I squeezed in a last minute run/ workout before the game tomorrow and started practicing our routines in one of the side rooms. After realizing that LA fitness shut all the lights off, we quickly got our stuff and ran out of there haha oops!! Then, we got a nice little tan and headed to bed early because of our 6 a.m. call time! AHHH!

Sunday November 13:

I'm 21 YAYYYYYYY!  Today is my birthday and I am so excited I get to cheer! I met Natalie H (yes, we go everywhere together) at 5:30 and we headed to the stadium!! She baked me a VERY YUMMY funfetti cake and gave me a nice present!! I got to the stadium and my captain Bree and the rest of our BAB squad also gave me a cake ånd a birthday crown! (These cakes did not last very long with a lot of hungry girls and myself who looooves to eat!) I got lots of great presents from friends on the squad! Birthdays always make me so thankful for all of the WONDERFUL people in my life! The game was my favorite one yet for many reasons.. First off, many military members were honored during the halftime show and received a standing ovation. Also, a military wife and her baby were blessed with a surprise homecoming of her husband planned by Blue, needless to say, there was not a dry eye in the stadium!!!!!! Blue also made me a birthday sign and had fans sing to me, which was very thoughtful!! After the game, Alicia, one of the interns, gave me a cookie cake.. CAKE #3! I then met my family and a few very close family friends for a birthday dinner at Scotty's! YUM! We all went back to my house for ANOTHER cake (cookie dough ice cream.. MY FAVORITE.. since I decided to not drink I decided it's okay to eat lots and lots of cake), a shot of milk ;), and presents! I am so blessed with the awesome family and friends who made my birthday by far the BEST one I've ever had!  YAYYY!! J J
