Cheerleader of the Week: Breanna F.

Cheerleader of the Week: Breanna F. Diary

Monday, August 15

Good Morning Colts Fans!!!  I'm excited to spend my week with you, so tighten your boot straps and hold on tight because it is going to be a crazy week!

My alarm went off at 6:00am for the first time in my new apartment.  I recently graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Human Resource Management.  I spent the past couple days moving my entire life from my hometown of Evansville to my new home in Indianapolis.  I am very anxious to see what this city has to offer.

After my alarm went off, I jumped right out of bed because I was excited to start my first day at my new job.  I am currently working for a company where I assist in their accounting department.

I got off work at 5:00pm, and I went straight to the gym to workout.

Today is a very special day for me because it is my BIRTHDAY!!!

My alarm woke me up at 6:00am, and I instantly felt another year older.  I realized I was officially an adult having to wake up and go to work on my birthday.   Since I get an hour for lunch, Ross picked me up from work and took me to Cheesecake Factory to celebrate the special day.  It was delicious and very hard for me to go back to work.

Once I got off work at 5:00pm, I had to go straight to the Colts Complex for practice.  This week was an exciting week at practice because we were preparing for our first home game of the season.  Even though we were all very excited, the week of a home game can also be very stressful.  We had a lot of work to do, and it was extremely hot outside.  In the end, it is always worth the blood, sweat, and tears.

I also share a birthday with my teammate, Sara F. - Happy Birthday Sara!!!

Happy Hump Day Colts Fans – we are half way through the week.  I warned you …it is a crazy week!  Today I struggled getting out of bed, but I had very little time to waste.

After work, I met with other teammates at Core Pilates and Fitness with our fitness trainer, Sean.  He offered an extra cardio class this week so we could all look great for our first home game of the season.

After the high intensity cardio class, I rushed home so I could visit with my older brother, Matt, and his fiancé, Nikki.  They wanted to see my new apartment and take me to Huddles to celebrate my birthday.  Nothing beats Huddles chocolate frozen yogurt with lots of yummy fruit toppings!

Thursday, August 18

Good Morning!!  I woke up bright and early to pack my stuff for practice and then went straight to work.  I had a lot to get done before the big game tomorrow so I ran errands through my lunch break.  Luckily, the work day flew by and before I knew it, it was 5:00pm and time for me to head to the Colts Complex for practice.

We ran through a mock gameday so the rookies could get a better idea of everything that goes on.  We also rehearsed our half time performance with our special guests….but I can't say anymore because it is a surprise!  Trust me; you won't want to miss it!!!

It is time for me to get my beauty rest for the game tomorrow.  Goodnight!

HAPPY GAMEDAY COLTS FANS!!! J

It was such a great feelings stepping back onto the football field.  It was an even better feeling seeing all the Colts fans that came to the game to cheer on our team.  I am so blessed and thankful to be back on the squad for another year!

For an extra treat, we did a Beatles halftime performance.    For the performance, we needed a guy dance partner and many of us asked our grandpa's, dad's, brother's, and boyfriend's to join us.  It turned out to be the most enjoyable halftime performance I have been a part of; thanks to my partner, Ross.

My two biggest fans drove up to Indianapolis for the game, my mom and dad.  I was so excited when I found out they were coming to watch me cheer, and of course, they came to watch the game as well.  After the game, I went to Scotty's with my parents.  I was so tired; I practically fell asleep at the table, so I went straight to bed after I got home.

Saturday, August 20

My alarm went off at 8:30am and I was off to Core Pilates and Fitness to get a good workout in.  I was extremely sore and tired from the game but I still made myself get to the gym.  After my workout, my mom and I went shopping for a dress to wear to a wedding I am in next weekend.  One of my teammates Larissa S. is getting married and she asked me to read at her wedding.  She is one of my good friends and I feel so honored to be a part of her special day!

Once I found a dress, I went home to get ready for a Jr. Cheer appearance at the Colts Complex.  It was so much fun working with all the younger girls and teaching them their dance for the game on Friday, August 26.

Once I got home from my appearance, I got ready and hung out with my teammates to celebrate my birthday.  It was a perfect ending to a perfect week!

Sunday, August 21

Good Afternoon Fans!  I must be honest, I slept in today and it felt wonderful.

It was a pretty afternoon so I went to Broad Ripple to eat lunch outside with some friends.  After I got my belly full, I went home to relax and watch movies the rest of the evening.

I hope you have enjoyed following along with me this week!  I have had so much fun sharing this week with you and I can't wait to see some of you at the game on Friday - GO COLTS!!! xoxo
