This is Brandice's rookie season with the Indianapolis Colts. As a young girl, she watched in awe when her cousin tried out for the squad. "I always looked up to her and after that I knew I wanted to be a Colts cheerleader." Brandice came to tryouts without any formal dance training. Beyond her high school dance team and show choir experience, she showed up determined and eager to learn. Hearing her name called to join the 2008-09 squad was an amazing experience she will never forget.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Brandice is a life-long Colts supporter. "I've always been a fan on or off the field, win or lose." Now she works as a bartender at a local fine dining restaurant. Her free time is spent working out, doing yoga and scrapbooking. Recently, she added a new hobby to her repertoire. "I'm trying to learn how to cook!" Brandice is working hard toward a career in rehabilitation and hopes to start a family of her own someday.
Brandice is learning first-hand the dedication involved with being an NFL cheerleader. Between practices, appearances and games the squad is always learning something new. She conquers every task with a smile on her face. "It has made me realize that you can overcome any challenge as long as you work hard and put your mind to it."
Being an ambassador for the Colts is a role Brandice takes seriously. She lives every day as an exemplary "Sweetheart Behind the Horseshoe" and a role model to young fans. Colts cheerleading has given her friendships and lasting memories. "I think that the rest of my life I will always be affected by these wonderful years of cheering. I won't have any regrets."
