At just six-years-old, she distinctly remembers performing with a dance company during a home game. "I looked at the Colts cheerleaders in awe. It was electrifying to perform in front of thousands of fans and feel the tremendous amount of energy the crowd generated." Ashli's love for performing only grew. She danced with a professional ballet company in the Nutcracker and Sesame Street Live. She was a high school varsity cheerleader and college co-ed cheerleader before bringing her skills to the Colts.
Ashli serves as the Director of Patient Care Services at a prominent aesthetic surgery institute. She acts as the liaison between the doctor and patients by providing detailed information to the patient and meeting his or her specific needs. "I have helped many patients who have been injured in accidents or suffered life threatening diseases and I have seen how dramatically their lives changed in an instant."
Cheering for her favorite team presents Ashli with great opportunities. She enjoys spending time with her teammates and considers them close friends. "The camaraderie that develops between the women on the squad is amazing." Some of her favorite memories are from the military tour to Japan and Hawaii. "Our troops and their families are so giving." She says they inspired her to give back to those in need.
Now she supports her local community by serving as an advocate for various cancer foundations. Her other interests include modeling, working out, traveling, scrapbooking, shopping, and boating. In a perfect world, she says, "I would learn to sew, become a fashion designer, and design my own clothing line!" Years down the road, Ashli says she will think fondly of her days with the world champion Colts. "I will always be able to reflect upon the photographs, unique experiences and share memories with my family…the memories are etched in my heart."
