Monday January 16 2012:

Good morning Colts fans! My name is Anna and this is my first year as a Colts Cheerleader.  Although this was not the best year for the Colts, it was still one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life.  I have been dancing my whole life, and I am so blessed to still be able to be active with my biggest passion.  I am excited to share my week with all you wonderful fans!

I started my Monday with a 6am workout with our trainer Sean from Core Pilates and Fitness.  I then got ready and headed to work.  I work for a family law firm in Carmel.  I am the Marketing Coordinator for Hollingsworth & Zivitz.  I love my job and everyone that I work with.  One of the partners, Christina Zivitz, was a Colts Cheerleader and it has been fun to compare our experiences.  After work I went home to relax with my husband and our playful dog, Zoe. It was a good day. Talk to you tomorrow!

Tuesday January 17, 2012 :

Hello again!  Today I woke up around 6am and got ready to go to work.  I got done with work at 5pm and headed to practice.  We are getting ready for Super Bowl performances and I could not be more excited!  We will be performing all over Indianapolis that week, so we have been practicing really hard for it.  Tonight I learned the country themed routines for a performance at the Super Bowl Village.  I left the Colts Complex at 10pm and headed home.  I made myself dinner and sat down to watch Modern Family from last week with my husband. It is our favorite show.  Goodnight and sweet dreams!!

Wednesday January 18, 2012:

Good Morning!  It is 7:30am and I am off to work again.  I have a busy day of errands, so I will be out of the office for most of the day today.  I wish it was not so cold!  I headed home after work today and played fetch with my dog.  After sleeping all day, she is full of energy.  When my husband got home we left to meet his parents for dinner because they are leaving for Grand Cayman tomorrow morning.  We are very jealous we are not going but we cannot be too upset because we are leaving for Costa Rica in 3 weeks! It is always good to see my in-laws and it was a delicious dinner! After dinner we went home and watched this week's Modern Family. Off to bed so I can get a good night sleep!

Thursday January 19, 2012:

It's Thursday, which means it is practice day but I am on my way to work first.  The weather today is awful! I stayed at the office all day because I did not want to go out in the bad weather.  It was a slow day at work today.  I left work at 4:30pm so I could take my time getting to practice.  We got a lot accomplished today at practice.  I practiced/learned routines for the breast cancer themed day.  I am very excited about this performance because I get to perform a lyrical routine.  It will be fun to show Indy other dance skills that we have that they do not get to see at games. I got out of practice a little after 10pm and went to support my husband in his indoor flag football game.  It was a late night but a great day!  Goodnight!!

Friday January 20, 2012:

Happy Friday everyone!!!  I woke up at 6am and I am now on my way to work.  Not too much going on at work today. For lunch my friend and fellow teammate, Sadee, met me for lunch.  Ruth's Chris was promoting a $5 sack lunch. It had two filet sliders, chips and a cookie.  It was delicious!  It was definitely worth five dollars.  I headed straight home after work to get ready for dinner.  The whole squad went to Weber Grill downtown to celebrate our Pro Bowl cheerleader Kim! It was a lot of fun being with everyone outside of practice.  It took a while to get home because of the weather but I made it home safely.  Going to bed so that I can be rested for my appearance at the Super Bowl volunteer pep rally!

Saturday January 21, 2012:

Today is my first event for the Super Bowl!  I cannot believe it is already here.  I am on my way down to Lucas Oil.  We arrived at the locker room where they had lunch waiting for us.  We then went out to the stage to practice for our performance.  Then, we got to meet all the wonderful volunteers for the Super Bowl.  This is the best part of being a Colts Cheerleader.  I love meeting the fans and getting to talk to them.  Everyone was so excited for the Super Bowl, and  all the good it will bring to our city!  I headed home to take a nap after the pep rally.  After a long week, I wanted to just have a relaxing night.  My husband took me to my favorite restaurant, P.F. Changs. Then, we went home and played the game Farkle (a dice game).  I love nights that I can go to bed and not set an alarm! Night Colts fans!!

Sunday January 22, 2012:

Good Morning!  I slept in until 11am today.  It was wonderful!  My plan for the day is to clean up the house and get some laundry done (all the fun stuff that comes with owning a house).  I had chick flicks on the TV all day though so that helped.  Later that day, I watched the football games and was disappointed when I knew the Patriots were going to be coming to Indy! I am happy though that we will have a Manning playing.  I will definitely be rooting for the Giants!  Before going to bed, I practiced my routines for this coming weeks practice.  Thank you for letting me share my week with all of you! Hope you all had a good week and sweet dreams tonight! Bye Colts fans!!
