Monday December 21, 2009 - Good Morning, Good Morning :) Well its Monday but I am in the best mood because there is only 4 days until Christmas!!!!!!!! Yeah I love Christmas! Well aside from my enthusiasm for the week, I slept in a little late, but I still had time to swing by Starbucks and grab a Carmel Apple Spice! I went ahead and got four of them for the girls I work with at OrthoIndy, hey it is the time to be giving, right? I did some last minute shopping after work, and despite the fact that I am a huge procrastinator, I got all my shopping done in only 3 days ( The 3 days before Christmas Eve) but I got them done! My mom, dad and four little sisters, my boyfriend and his family and all our friends, coaches and some shopping for the adopted families for Christmas we did through the Colts! Whew I was worn out but I am not going to lie, I love shopping for other people. I am one of those people who loves watching someone they love, rip open an awesome gift you got for them and seeing the excitement and appreciation on their faces! This is the second Christmas for my boyfriend and I. I wanted to make it extra special for him, because he is so good to me! We both moved to Indianapolis from Bardstown, Kentucky after I made the squad in May (a.k.a. the best day of my life ?) But I think this has been a fulfilled Monday, so I got a quick workout in, off to bed, say my prayers and Good Night……..Zzzzzz
Tuesday December 22, 2009 - Another early morning and off to work. By the way, the whole job thing isn't all it's cracked up to be! But overall it has been a pretty good day, I have been so laid back and chill and that's not me! But I think I'm just happy and content, only 3 days until Christmas!!!!! :) I left work a little early today because I have a final interview for a really good job I have been trying to get over the past month, but today is the day so wish me luck! I think every thing happens for a reason, so I am hoping there is a good reason for me to get this job!!!!! I graduated in May from the University of Louisville, so I have really wanted to use my degree towards a career, in hopes of becoming a very successful and independent woman! Since I had been so business minded, and hard working all day, I decided to unwind. We bought, The Hangover, ordered a veggie pizza and laughed our hearts out watching that movie! Hilarious ? What a great day! I had to do a workout a little longer today. If I eat unhealthy, I try to make up for it with exercise. Life is all about balance! Ha ha! Okay well time to hit my extremely comfortable bed, Buenas Noches!!!
Wednesday December 23, 2009 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA!!!!!! Today is my mom's birthday and I would like to start my day by thanking God for her. She is the most supportive, sweet, caring, giving, beautiful person I have ever met!!! She always keeps me positive and thinking optimistically and without her, nothing I have would be possible! Also, good news……….. I got the job!!!!!! YEAH this is such a great Christmas present and by the way thanks Desiree ;) 2 days until Christmas, I am on top of the world! After work, my boyfriend took me out to dinner to celebrate my new job, and after that we were both so tired from the day that we crashed early tonight. I said my prayers. Thursday December 24, 2009 - Merry Christmas Eve! I have a big family so we are busy from the 24th to the 26th but I don't mind. I actually love it! We woke up early and drove to Kentucky. My dad's mom and dad's family all get together on Christmas Eve. We have an awesome lunch, Texas Hold em', margaritas' and then presents. Its simply perfect, and it gets better every year! After that I went to my mom's mom and dad's for dinner, presents and to fight over holding my new baby cousin, Brodie! He is the cutest little boy I have ever seen, and he is our little angel!!!! I love being surrounded by my family but mostly getting to spend time with my sisters. I am the oldest. Kelli is 21, Whitney 19, Kimberly and Emilee are both 11, and so our lives stay interesting. When my sisters and I get together, ALL we do is laugh and laugh and laugh! I love it. It means the world to me! Well I better set some cookies and milk out….. Santa Claus comes tonight!!!!!
Friday December 25, 2009 - MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS! What a great feeling to wake up on Christmas morning. I am 23, but I still get so excited seeing the millions of present under our tree, laying there just ready to be ripped open!!!!! It's the best. ? What can I say? I got everything I wanted for Christmas. I guess I have been very good all year! After we have Christmas at my mom's, we go to my dad's and then I go to my boyfriend's family and then back to my family. We rip and run all the time, but you got to do, what you got to do! I am SO thankful and appreciative because I know how lucky I am to have all my family healthy and happy. Patrick and Brian, we love you. We are praying for you, and we can't wait for you to come back home! Merry Christmas everybody….. I wish this day would last forever!
Saturday December 26, 2009 - Well without a doubt I slept in today as long as I could! Then I went back through all the stuff I got and played with my sister and helped her put her stuff away! We have to drive back to Indy today because we have a big game tomorrow! Also my boyfriend and I are going to do our Christmas tonight, our first Christmas together in our apartment….. How cute! I got a cute bebe purse, a coach wallet and a beautiful ring! I love it. :) I really missed all my teammates and I am dying to see what they got for Christmas and how their Holidays went! They really are the best group of girls you could ever find! They are awesome, and I am so lucky to be associated with this team, the coaches and the Colts Organization! Good night. I need to get plenty of sleep tonight. Its going to be a long day tomorrow!
Sunday December 27, 2009 - GAME DAY!!!!! Man I really love game days. I get so excited for them. I was extra happy this morning when I had to be at the stadium at ten o'clock instead of six o'clock in the morning!!!! After I got some breakfast, packed my bag and got ready, I was off to the stadium for another Colts victory. This is my rookie year and we are 14-0, that's pretty awesome, I am not going to lie! So while we were practicing, our wonderful little choreographer Shonica announced to us that she got engaged over the Holidays and her rock was gorgeous! I am so happy for her. She is a great person, and she deserves only the best! 4:15 kick off, after a few interceptions, fumbles and missed catches we were down 15-29 against the Jets. We are saving our energy for the playoffs, which leads to the SuperBowl, and that is the ultimate goal! So no worries, the COLTS are here to stay until February 7th 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!! We love our COLTS!!!!! Lets go all the way!
