The Indianapolis Colts will host the Texans to begin the regular season. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 8, at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The contest will mark the 45th all-time matchup between the teams, with Indianapolis leading the series 32-11-1. In their last game in Week 18 of last season, Indianapolis hosted the Texans and lost, 23-19.

Dwight Freeney's family, friends, former coaches and teammates including Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Edgerrin James, Dallas Clark, Bob Sanders, Adam Vinatieri, Jeff Saturday, Tarik Glenn and Gary Brackett joined him in Canton to celebrate his Pro Football Hall of Fame induction.

The Colts will honor Dwight Freeney with a Hall of Fame recognition ceremony during halftime of the season opener on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
