BITE OF THE APPLE

Justin Johnson of Brownsburg is the latest Colts season ticket holder to gain a benefit from supporting his favorite NFL team. Johnson will attend the Indianapolis-New York Jets game at MetLife Stadium later this year, courtesy of the Colts. The ‘BIG APPLE TRIP CONTEST’ is the latest gesture of thanks from the team to its outstanding fans.

INDIANAPOLIS – The success of the Colts at home through the years has been documented in the victory column time after time.

Players, coaches and administrators certainly contributed in great ways, but another key ingredient has been the outstanding loyalty of Colts fans.  Rabid followers of the team have ensured sellouts at 103 of the last 104 games in the RCA Dome and Lucas Oil Stadium, including a current streak of 70 consecutive.

In making Indianapolis one of the toughest NFL destinations, the fans and team have collaborated to earn a 74-29 home record since the start of the 1999 season, and fans have watched the team win eight division titles, two AFC Championships and Super Bowl XLI.

Owner and CEO Jim Irsay leads the way in treasuring his customers, and his gratitude has been evident in many ways.

The club inducted the '12th Man' into the Ring of Honor in 2008.  Irsay and the organization gave several pairs of tickets to Super Bowl XLVI to season ticket holders recently, and the latest gesture of thanks to fans is the 'BIG APPLE TRIP CONTEST' that was won by Justin Johnson of Brownsburg, a season ticket holder since 2004.

Johnson and all other season ticket holders were eligible for the contest by renewing their tickets by February 27.  Johnson was selected randomly from eligible patrons by an accounting firm.

Johnson and a guest will be attending the Indianapolis-New York Jets game this fall courtesy of the Colts.  In addition to the two game tickets, Johnson will receive two airline tickets, ground transfers, hotel room for two nights in NYC and $300 spending money.

"In an on-going effort to say thank you to our season ticket holders the Colts gave away several pairs of tickets for Super Bowl XLVI here in Indianapolis (three pairs via an early renewal contest and several others via Jim Irsay tweets).  If season ticket holders have questions regarding their season tickets they are encouraged to reach out directly to their CRR Customer Relationship Representative," said Larry Hall VP Ticket Operations and Guest Services.

Renewal invoices were sent to all season ticket holders in January.  The deadline to renew is Friday, March 2.  Fans may pay on-line here, or join the wait list here.
