BARBEQUING FOR KIDS

Colts fans can eat, hear music and get free Colts merchandise. Most importantly, they can help raise money for Children's Bureau, Inc., at the Zup's BBQ for Kids at Monument Circle in Indianapolis on Friday, September 26.

Zup's BBQ for Kids to Raise Money for Children's Bureau, Inc.
INDIANAPOLIS – Fans can eat, hear music and get free Colts merchandise.

Mostly, they can help raise money for children.

The Colts, Colts Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Tom Zupancic and the Exchange Club of Speedway Club will host the second annual Zup's BBQ for Kids, benefiting the Children's Bureau, Inc. The event will be held on Friday, September 26, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monument Circle in Indianapolis.

"For years, the Children's Bureau and the Colts have partnered to benefit children in Indianapolis," Zupancic said. "In years past, it was through Zup's Lift for Kids. Now, because we want more people to be able to participate and help Indianapolis' young people, we are in our second year partnering to stage Zup's BBQ for Kids.

"We're excited to be able to continue benefiting kids in Indianapolis."

Fans attending will have the choice of barbeque from O'Charley's, Famous Dave's Legendary Pit BBQ, Dawson's on Main and Hawg Wild BBQ. For $10, fans will have their choice of barbeque, Coca-Cola beverage and a bag of Frito-Lay Chips. All profits will benefit the Children's Bureau.

Zup's BBQ for Kids elements include:

• Colts Cheerleaders.

• Free Collectors Edition Colts Poster.

• Colts in Motion Traveling Museum.

• Colts Pro Shop Merchandise Sales.

• A chance to enter to win Tickets to the October 12 Colts-Baltimore Ravens game.

• Live Music by Toy Factory.

• A Celebrity Rib Eating Contest.

The celebrity rib eating contest, hosted by O'Charley's, will take place on the steps of Monument Circle at 12:15 p.m., and will feature local TV/Radio/Newspaper celebrities from Indianapolis.

The celebrity who cleans the most ribs in five minutes will be the winner of the rib-eating contest and will receive a trophy and a $100 gift card from O'Charley's.
