ASSISTANT HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on how Wednesday's practice went)
"A very good practice today. A good, sharp pace, very few mistakes, they were minimal. The guys did a nice job of moving around and executing."
ASSISTANT HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on how the team bounced back after Tuesday)
"They seemed to bounce back extremely well. Obviously, I think they were happy to have an opportunity to see their head coach. They haven't seen him for almost a week and certainly wanted to support him in this tough time, so they had a chance to talk with him and see him, and in some cases touch him. So, the guys really felt good about that and came back to work today and they did a nice job."
ASSISTANT HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on when he anticipates Head Coach Tony Dungy returning)
"I'm not real sure. Our owner (Jim Irsay) has given him as much time as he needs. So, whenever he returns…we'll certainly be happy when he gets back and look forward to it."
ASSISTANT HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on the approach to this final regular season game)
"That's what it is. It's the final regular season game, and obviously our numbers are such where we're going to end up probably playing a little bit of everybody because our numbers are low, but we're going out there to win a ballgame. That's the ultimate goal."
ASSISTANT HEAD COACH JIM CALDWELL (on if he worries about losing momentum going into the playoffs)
"I think you can kind of sense, we have a pretty veteran team that's been around. Obviously, last week they still had an opportunity to play. They'll play some this week, and I think they'll be able to stay sharp. They've been a team that's been fairly steady and consistent throughout the year, and I don't think that will change."
