"We thought we had a good spirited practice this evening. We got quite a bit done and had an opportunity to work on a number of different situations. Certainly got chances to kind of hone in our running game early on during our inside drill period and had a good two-minute drill period as well. That is a very, very important part of our operation on both sides of the ball. So we think we got a lot done today."

"One of the things is the fact that he is healthy. I think he is feeling good. I think you can see that he is showing the speed and the quickness he has possessed. He has been a little nicked up from time to time in previous years. Last year before the end of the year I think he performed well and felt good. This year I think he is going to be able to put two of them back to back."

"Donald (Brown) last year came in asking a lot of questions and I kind of saw myself doing the same things with Dominic ( Rhodes). This year you just see (Donald) more confident. You would see him out there laughing throughout the day rather than have his head spinning. It is still early in training camp, but you can feel a good thing coming out of Donald. He wants to learn, he wants to get better, he wants to help, and that is the biggest thing. When you have somebody like that on your team that is always a good thing."

"It was nice the weather was good, too. The other day it was, man, I kind of make fun of some of the guys because they talk about how hot it is in Indianapolis and you go down south and it is really hot. But I kind of had my foot in my mouth the other day because I was just sweating. Today was good, the crowd was in it and kind of got us ramped up, somewhat into game mode."

"In camp I feel like you have to come in and work on your fundamentals. You start playing football at a young age so you know how to play football, but you work on techniques and along the guys on the side of you to gain a relationship. You want to build that togetherness with the players and that's what you have got to do with guys coming in all the time. I think that is the biggest thing, just really getting to know everybody and working on your fundamentals."

"I feel like it is a different attitude. Everybody is trying to get the job done. We all go to the same meetings together. We all have the same game plan. Everybody is trying to get the job done. It is still early. We have a long way to go, but I feel like we are heading in the right direction."

"You can not, not give back. You have to do that regardless. You have to think team, and I think that is one of the reasons the Colts are good year after year. You want to do that and by doing that the older guys have to help the younger guys. You see Peyton (Manning) helping Curtis (Painter) all the time along with the other quarterbacks. He is always showing them how to go about things, and it would be wrong if myself or other veteran guys didn't do that."

"I think so. It's funny how you are out there playing your position and it's hard to look at someone else. But I think watching film on him he is doing a good job. Dwight is a guy who has been around the block a few times so he knows what he needs to do to get his body in shape and ready to go for the regular season."

"People who went to work during the day come out there during the evenings. Everyone is off, hopefully, to bring their families out here. The crowd was electric. Unfortunately yesterday we got rained out, but they came back and it seemed like more people came today than yesterday. I'm excited they got a chance to see us go out there and practice. The temperature was great and we can't complain about the weather this time of year."
